Well, we may as well get this thing going, and first we just need to take stock of what we have going for us.
We seem to have most people located in Europe (so far at least the roster isn't done yet), our three test pilots off in Jaburo, and Tin Cod in East Asia, where I'll be popping soon as well. Jaburo, of course, is in no immediate peril, so our test pilots should head off somewhere else. We'll just need to decide whether to make it Europe, Asia, or both. Incidentally, most Zeon pilots seem to be in Europe as well.
Now, on the issue of the earlier shop: yeah, it hurts. We have some poor selection, at high prices. However! It does also give us something else. It gives our PCs a good start on tech. Almost all of us have ranged beam weapons, and a good deal of us have really good armor for this part of the war. We stand higher above anything they'll buy in the shop than we already would have, making us great point units for the smaller engagements we have at the beginning of the game.
Other thoughts are welcome, and more to come later as information develops.

First off I'd like to say welcome to the brave soldiers of the Earth Federation, and now to business. Last time our lack of organization was a huge problem in the initial weeks of the war. Our first plan back then was to break into North Africa and cripple the Zeon war machine by taking out their two mines. In the end it took about a month to complete the operation due to various circumstances. This time I suggest we refrain from rushing into Zeon territory off the bat and stick to contested zones so we don't get ambushed by patrols too often. My next suggestion is that we form at least one fleet as soon as we can. Why? Because a fleet will allow for safer and easier movement through Zeon controled lines. We have alot of players on the EFGF so if you guys are willing to pitch in we can have a fleet up and running in short order. Three Medea would make for a quick fleet but a Big Tray if we could get one would rock. We could fill it up with Type 61s and get a Type 71 or two for detection. Here is my proposition: | Unit | Price | Amount | Total | | Big Tray | 1100 | 1 | 1100 | | Medea | 330 | 1 | 330 | | Dish | 44 | 2 | 88 | | Type 61 | 11 | 7 | 77 | | Tin Cod | 11 | 8 | 88 | | Type 74 | 44 | 2 | 88 | | GM Ground | 315 | 1 | 315 | | GM Ground Sniper | 360 | 1 | 360 | | | Final Total | | 2446 |

Note: This is using all of the EFGFs starting funds. Anyway I think it's our best option considering MS are so expensive at this point in the game, we can pick up MS for our teams later as we go along. Tell me what you all think, if we decide to go this route perhaps we could go for those mines after all! That or Archangelisk(Europe) and Manila(East Asia) are the softest targets.

That Medea is highly vulnerable without air support.

That Medea is highly vulnerable without air support. Good Point, edited to include air units.

It looks good to me. I'll help out where I can cash flow wise for our fleet.

We should probably put Jojo as owner, since he'll be our obvious candidate for fleet commander once we get there.

Sounds fine by me, whoever can own the fleet as long as they don't disappear on us all of a sudden. Oh and I'll need to edit my charts since we got some new recruits, I'll do it tomorrow since I'm tired today. Any suggestions on what units to purchase would be appreciated though.

A fleet of Medea is fine in the short run but we should eventually look to buy a carrier. Feddies always win by airpower.
