Outside of standard war tactics and base assault strategies, each of which will likely get their own thread in time, I thought it fitting to have a brainstorming thread for more obscure, outlandish tactics.
One I thought of in MK4, and don't recall anyone ever trying, was launch fake terrorist attacks on specific independent powers and ensure a Zeon force was available to assist the independents and "capable of resolving the chaos". Basically, my thought was to hire a Rogue on a short-term 2-3 week contract. Have the Rogue launch an assault on an independent faction (example: Riah Republic) disguised as an EF soldier. Make the rogue use a terrorist support or some other service if necessary to seem legit. When the Independent responds, ensure that a "conveniently nearby" Zaku unit/force intercept the "EF Soldier", arrests and detains him.
Albeit only likely to work once or twice, if successful it should boost Zeon relations with that side and lower EF relations.

Using Texas Colony as a literally moving base into Side 7 or Luna II, or as a forward base in +2DE as opposed to Side 5 was a highlight in tonight's channel talk.
Heck, attaching boosters on it and sending it towards the EFSF to send them in a panic works too.
Arc also wants to put a Nuclear Charge on Texas Colony and have it sit in Side 7. The moment the EF shows up: BOOM. The cover story would be accidental detonation of a colony's nuclear power plants and EF's have butterfingers.

Well, considering the fact that I'm the sole Zeke Marine, I'm making it a point to do just that, at least until someone else claims/steals the Ork mantle.
Can you slap colony movers onto derelict colonies? If so, why note just turn all conquered colonies into bombs and colony-droppers.

Cuz the other colonies are filled with millions of fools that we would need to gas before hand. Texas just saves us the time of seiging a colony for a few days.

Don't colonies have windows/doors you can just open? Saves the expense of gassing. Who cares if there is a breathable atmosphere, it's just a big bomb.
