A few miles south of the Olympic Stadium in Neo Vegas lies a warehouse busy with activity even at this late hour. Under normal circumstances this wouldn't raise any red flags except for the fact that most of the warehouse workers were all armed automatic weaponry. This is also the reason why Laredo Veil has been lying in the artificial thicket of buses on a hill overlooking the warehouse with a pair of high-powered binoculars. The SS agent has been on the trail of Thomas Gane, a Riah low-life, who has been providing Anti-Zeon groups an assortment of firearms from the Earth Federation.
There's a rustling in the grass behind Veil. He reaches for his sidearm, rolls over and takes aim.
A large bald man with pale eyes emerges with his hands raised. A familiar face comes out smiling a sigh is let of the grounded photographer as he lowers his weapon away from his fellow SS.
"You still are pretty fresh, a double-tap is more of a proper reaction when being snuck up on as opposed to a sigh." said the the obviously more experienced SS agent."
"Good to see you too, Ghettid." Laredo mutters as he turns back around scouting the warehouse. "Gane's in there, are you're men in position?" Laredo asks as he adjusts his glasses.
"Haha men? Best I could find were some Riah Military washouts. I'm surprised they haven't given away there position yet." Jun Ghettid was an E-7 in the SS assigned to show Laredo the ropes. Mainly it was to see if if the awkward spacenoid could properly serve the Zabi family.
"Gane's in the office on the second floor facing the northside. I rigged the power supply, once the lights go out-"
"Then it's lights out for the fools in the warehouse, this isn't my first raid Veil."
Laredo looks over to Ghettid, who's eyes are already filling anxious bloodlust, hands him a photo of a bearded man in a red bandana with gaudy shades.
"Don't kill him! I need to find out where this weapons are coming from. Corpses tend not to share information. Let's not have another Sleeper's Woe, ok Ghettid?"
"Go to hell Veil!" Angered at the mere mention of Sleeper's Woe, the incident that kept the large man from becoming an officer , simply got up and headed down the hill. "Just kill the lights, I'll make sure Gane is well enough to speak. I'll radio you when it's over."
Laredo waited for Ghettid to make to the base of the before he pulled his camera out from under his shirt. The power supply was rigged with a timer and any moment there would be a blackout then the only thing illuminating the the dark would be a the muzzle fire. Veil decided to entertain through the gunfight by cycling through the photos he's accumulated during his time in Side 6. Photos of kids playing in parks mixed in with Thomas Gane receiving payment from a collection of unsavory people. Unfortunately it only led to more questions as the pops of gunfire intensify.
"Where are you getting your weapons from and how have you been hiding it from from us?" He thought to himself. He would have needed to work with someone, someone who can find their way though the Zeon Blockade on a regular basis. The night goes quiet and the radio cuts in.
"Alright you, get your ass in here. Don't mind the mess hehe."
"On my way."
Laredo gets up and starts to work his way to the warehouse. Soon he'll have his answers.
