You can help Ketara shop for a new laptop!
I want something with the following:
Case:
17" widescreen minimum.
Keyboard with integrated numpad.
Minimum 3 USB ports, 4 if there is no SD card reader.
Hardware:
4 gigs RAM minimum
320 gigs HD minimum, pref. 2x 160 gig HD
I'm not real savvy on processors, but something good.
512 MB dedicated video card
A really top notch wireless card. My last two laptops have had shitty wireless cards and I am tired of it.
Software:
Hardware MUST be compatible with Ubuntu. I probably want to set up a dual boot of Ubuntu and Windows 7 this time. That is all.
