The Objective: To capture the enemy EFSF Salamis-class ship, Floppy Lion. If that fails, then destroy the target.
The Assault Plan:
1. Prior to the battle, the Zaku II-E will locate and identify the EFSF ship, Floppy Lion, as well as its course and heading. With this information, the rest of the attack will be moved into position.
2. The Erinyes will deploy its Zaku II Fs in attack formations as the Musai opens fire on the EFSF ship. The weapons fire is not meant to hit but to alarm the target and force it to start running.
3. As the target starts to evade, the Erinyes will try to force the target closer to the where the Panzergrenadier assault shuttle and Marines Assault shuttle is hiding.
4. At that time, the Rick Dom will attack the Floppy Lion from below. His primary target on the ship is the main engine block and their secondary target is the gun turrets. We want to slow the ship
down so we can board it. During the Rick Dom attack, the MS Support of 3 Zaku II Fs will cutoff the Floppy Lion from the front. The 3 Zaku II Fs will also distract the enemy ship gunners from the
assault shuttles.
5. Once the Floppy Lion is disabled, the assault shuttle will attack from above and below the ship. The Panzergrenadiers will make their breech entry through the windows of the Floppy Lion’s bridge.
From there, they will work their way through the rest of the ship with the Marines supporting them. We will allow the Salamis Capsule to escape
6. During this time, the rest of the attack force will form a protective screen around the crippled EFSF ship and begin towing it towards Zeon lines
7. If other EFSF units appear on the screen, the Zaku II-E can vector our own mobile suits to fight them off.
Remember folks, Sunday through Mondy is DAY 1 of the RPG. Meaning you need to send in your e-mails to join my battle strategy against the Floppy Lion TOMORROW before the deadline. Be sure to include your optional armaments. For the Rick Doms, I recommend the Bazooka to take out the Salamis engine block.
