After the sparring was done, Emil got a message.
"Show up immediately on the Floppy Lion for space combat tactics"
"I guess I'm gonna get yelled at, huh.." Emil murmured. "But then again, that is to be expected, I did perform pretty badly, after all."
Emil yawns.
"But these sparring sessions.. they truly are tiring. I guess I'll just take a nap and leave it to you, partner." Emil patted the screen a bit and put the MS on autopilot, on the lowest speed, towards the Floppy Lion.
Thud
A while after bumping into the Floppy Lion, one of the crew members managed to wake him up and send him on his way.
He arrived in the appointed room, and it was empty; the only things inside a couple of benches, much like those used in any kind of school. So he figured he was early.
Deciding that he should spend his time to the utmost, he sat on the bench furthest into the corner and continued his nap.

Cato walked into the conference room and looked around taking in the surroundings of white tiled floor and walls and the neatly organized benches.
"This certainly isn't much of a damn war room for this vessel." Cato scoffed. His lone eye focused on the front of the room where a lone chair was. "But you had enough time to lay out one single chair for yourself Issac Lon'Dozai. Cato accepted the insult with stride and smirked as his lone eye continued to scan the rest of the room.
On the farside of the room Cato took notice Emil Myberg sleeping at the furthurest corner of the room. Cato growled quietly as he stared at the sleeping enlisted man. During the sparring session, Cato remembered when Emil ran right as the Floppy Lion fired upon him and another GM in combat. Cato had more respect for Zeon soldiers in combat then cowards, and Cato knew Emil was a coward based on what he read about him in his file.
A muscle twitched on the right side of his face as he thought more about Emil's action while in training earlier. "This man could leave me to Natsee wolves if it came down to saving his own hide...how unacceptable." Cato thought to himself as he withdrew his M9 pistol from its holster and kicked the bench Emil was sleeping on.
"Wake up spineless dog!" Cato shouted as he pointed his pistol at Emil.

Simmons came into the room just in time to see Mr. Goloni pull out a gun on Emil. Annoyed by this development, and adding to Cato's previous conduct in combat, Simmons decided to mess with whatever his superior was doing there. The Beretta 92 from his holster came out silently, and Simmons pointed the gun at Goloni while checking off the safety.
"Hey, pulling out guns on our own 'mates won't win us the war against Zeon. Or do we have to prove that we're not only worse in MS development, but inner cohesion as well?"

Cato sighed as he flipped his M9 back into the safety position and returned it back to its holster calmly.
"I never expected you Simmons to be the type that protects cowards." Cato snarled as he gave a glare at Marc Simmons with his Berreta still pointed directly at Cato from a distance. He knew Marc would be what many would call 'A fucking know it all' but he never would have guessed he would have been the type to protect someone as weak as Emil.
Cato put both his hands up while taking a step back from Emil. Simmons pistol still was trained on the Ensign as he continued taking steps away from bench. Cato's eyes narrowed and he then kicked the leg of the bench Emil was sitting at just to scare him one last time. Cato glared back at Emil.
"Pussy." Cato grumbled and then walked over and sat down in the chair in the center of the room. Marc Simmons continued keeping his 92f trained on Cato. Cato smirked at the much younger pilot.

Satisfied, Simmons holstered his own gun after re-enabling the safety and waiting awhile; He wouldn't want to shoot himself in the legs unlike a well-known 20th century celebrity. He then sat down on one of the benches, well-away from Goloni and Myberg. It was a small victory amongst many losses, though.

"Is everyone quite finished?" Asked Issac as he entered the room. He'd apparently witnessed the end of the altercation from the hallway. "Just to be clear, the next person who pulls their gun best be ready to be thrown off this ship. And I don't mean in your mobile suit." Said Issac.
He calmly took a seat next to Cato. "Now unless anyone objects. I believe we had a meeting to start." said Issac.

Simmons clicked his tongue and wondered why Issac didn't ask them to stand up and salute a superior officer. Well, perhaps the captain is an easy-going man...but a lack of discipline won't push them to become the best. His heart tells him to go easy, as this is one of the first few mobile suit divisions of the Federation; some growing pains are inevitable.
Sigh.
"...Yes. But before the curriculum, I'm curious. Why did you issue us orders to requisition items for the ship? Some of us might've wanted to request our own things to improve combat capabilities."
There was a clear tone of annoyance in the young man's voice, despite the civil words.

"A decent question with a simple answer." said Issac looking at Simmons. "Your combat effectiveness depends on my ships effectiveness. You don't stand a chance against zeon with out my ships support. Which is why we are working towards a common goal. Any more questions?" Asked Issac.

Emil finally showed signs of waking up, grunting a bit as he did so. After that he yawns and raises his hand.
"Say, are you going to teach us anything those guys on earth didn't tell us, or is this just going to be a waste of time?"
Emil figured this rude question of his probably would get a rude answer, but still felt that it had to be asked.

Cato rolled his eyes and bit his lip. His patience with Emil was wearing thin slowly and he already couldn't stand the fact he was a coward. Now he was just being rude by not asking a superior officer for permission to speak.
"Yea don't run you god damn coward." Cato quickly replied to Emil. Before Cato relised what he had said he noticed that Issac had focused his attention back on Cato. Under Cato's eye patch he winced with his mangled eye hoping the patch would hide his reaction.
This was nothing new to Cato. He was known afterall for being troublesome even when he was in the acdemy for officer training. It seemed to him atleast he was begining to harkened back to those days.

Simmons chuckled. He still wasn't satisfied from picking on his superior officer earlier from pushing him head-first into a pack of missiles, so he decided to mess with Goloni more. This was addicting, to say the least. Someone will probably be decked in the face at the end of the day, but at the moment it's quite worth it.
"Fair enough, Captain. Also, Cato... Big words from someone who uses others as shield."
The Petty Officer sweetened the pot by not even addressing Cato with the proper respect for a higher rank.

"Thinking like that is only going to get you killed first. Unless you get Simmons killed before that. Honestly, using another ally as a shield.. And you call me a coward?" "Besides, I'm starting to get why people join Zeon.. if all officers are like you, old hypocrites.. This whole federation is a joke. Hell, if I had any choice, I'd probably join the Zeon, at least they don't force their people to fight battles they don't wish to fight."
Emil sighs.
"This is obviously a waste of time. I'll have to excuse myself, Captain, but I'd much rather not be in the same room as this violent hypocrite. Besides, my partner needs me to keep her up to shape."
With that said, Emil headed for the door.

"When we see actual combat I cant wait to use him as a shield." Cato thought to himself as he returned a smile to Simmons. Out of the corner of his eye he seen Emil walking toward the door.
"I hope you not a heavy sleeper Myberg, I might just drop a terantula in your bed or some other large venomous spider with a nasty bite." Cato smile as the young pilot walked to the door. Cato waited for Emil's reaction knowing he had a fear of spiders. Cato continued to smile at Simmons while waiting for Emil's reaction

Emil shuddered a bit upon hearing his plans, but he figured that reacting to his provocations wouldn't end well, and he had no plans to visit the infirmary just yet. Instead he kept walking, all the way to the MS hangar, and sat in the cockpit of his suit.
"I guess you're really the only one I can trust up here."
After that, Emil opened his locket and took a glance at Laura. Her face still had that smile.
"Is this really what I'm supposed to do, Laura? Can't you help me.. please?"
He spent his next few hours just sitting there, looking at his locket.
