So here we go for a little long term strategy talk so we all keep on the same page! Remember we all want to know what you think, so speak up!
First off, a couple thoughts: - Most of the zeeks seem to be massing in Europe. This most likely corresponds to an assault on Malta, however it could a response to Fleet 1 (42nd Brigade's) actions in North Africa which means attacks on us soon. I get the idea that they are a little unorganized, but they do have an SS member who has 2k RP and is going to build something today most likely at a Zeek base in Europe. They also have 1 Gaw already built by a TAF member. Most likely all for an assault on Malta.
- Alexandria seems to be the best fortress that both Fleet 1 and 2 could target together and might be a good next target, but we will see.

Should some of us go and defend the base so that the Zeeks dont have an easy time taking it out? It doesnt have to be like half the fleet just maybe one or two PCs.

Probably would be considered a bad idea. You would have to travel across Europe alone if you were not already damaged and would risk getting killed by a mass of zeeks. I have a feeling you would not make it in time either. Either way, I don't think they will gain much by taking Malta. Even if they do end up taking it, we will have a large naval force to easily take it back. I like the idea of trading 2 of their fortifications for one of ours as well.

Alexandria huh? Seems like a heavily defended base do you have some sort of plan?
Also let them have Malta, though if they form a fleet It might be nice to come in and stab them in the back after they either take or destory the base.

Well, if we get a lot of bombers on the Himalaya we can bomb the mine in Central Asia and/or the Supply fleet there.

If we don't want to risk patrols to bomb the mines we could consider paying a rogue to infiltrate it for us. Let them keep the mine if they take it, and pay them a little on the side for working for us. They're probably bored anyway. There's at least one in there that's already hostile toward Zeon.

Yes, but they are all land based. The Himalaya and Hillocks would be in the water and thus they could not engage us. It would be an air assault only.

I think it's time to leave North Africa for the moment before we get bombed to smithereens.

Okay, guys, you're obviously stuck in a fucking rut. Have most PCs disembark from the fleet for the moment, especially the ground pounders. They can't be repaired as long as they're being attacked, and they can't be attacked if they're repairing by themselves. Fill the fleet with OTHER things, then go fight. When taking a base, co-ordinate your assaults with the disembarked PCs so they assault a base at the same time. This way you guys can actually, you know, repair?

I propose everyone simultaneously disembark the fleet. The fleet itself will be on Overwatch.
Furthermore, I propose you try to contract Tylatz (Des Mielle) to Ambush the Zaku II K. Anyone jumping ship who's NOT damaged may consider trying to Ambush Rhett Paruta, said Zaku II K owner. Otherwise, be on Overwatch.
I know I'm neither an officer nor a ground pounder, but this is the best course of action I see.

I say that is a good plan. I for one dont want to rack up 2 more days of injury to get the -10% vp. It wouldnt really help to the fleet having that.

I say we need to retreat back to Jaburo. At least there the ships and us PC mobile suits can get repaired in the repair bay it has there. Plus it'll give time for us more seriously hurt pilots to heal up. Possibility even restock the ships and defenses of the Fleet as well. We could even Spar a little too while we wait till we're at 100%

Completely agree with Latooni. I think we were able to accomplish our task of distracting the Zeek ground forces by keeping them in Europe and N. Africa. Fortunately for us, they took the bait of believing it would be like Mk. IV again.
If we are able to successfully destroy Manila, officers should consider another diversion. Surely the Zeeks, especially the SS Jukons, will be dispatched to deal with Fleet 2. Fleet 1 should seize this opportunity to drop on the African mines. What we should try to figure out is how to deliver a shit ton of Tin Cods to protect the Medea fleet while airborne.
