ooc:this is sorta my way of trying to explain in game wise why I was inactive for the past few days.
The red lenses of Bask Ohm's goggles glowed a bright red as the light reflected off of them. The captain of the Ohm fleet sat at his desk with his hands bridged together in front of him.
"I was beginning to wonder when you were going to show your face Ensign Goloni." Cato sat across from the captain. The younger of the two men stretched and arrogantly placed his feet on the desk. Ohm sneered at such a disrespectful gesture. "I out rank you Goloni, you should show a little more respect." Ohm's eyes narrowed at the arrogant Ensign.
"You'll get over it." Cato smiled at the captain. "I have come bringing you good news." Cato's smile grew. He had traveled all the way back to the front lines to deliver the message to Ohm himself. Cato received news that Nadia Adelaide had escaped the trap he had laid out for the newtype. He had wanted to capture that modified Zaku for the Federation to help with the development of better newtype mobile suits for the Federation.
"I understand your little ambush you had planned for that newtype zeek didn't go as planned." Bask smiled as the light now hit the lenses of his goggles at a angle that his eyes could now be seen. Cato's smile dissapeared. The one eyed officer could sense that Bask was trying to tease him on his resent failure.
"A miscommunication on the part of my men during combat is what saved the natzee bitch from being in my tender loving care." Cato growled.
"I sympathize with you in your disappointment that this newtype was not captured, her mobile suit would have aided in many fields of Federation research." Bask chuckled. Cato stared blankly at the captain. "So you came all this way to tell me about a operation that will be going down real soon." Cato's eye shifted away from Bask for a moment and then back on to the captain as the ensign collected his thoughts. Cato had got little rest since being asked by Jamitov to personally deliver the message to Captain Ohm of the operational plan.
"Admiral Heiman had sent a cripted message to the Floppy Lion the other day telling me of a operation he wants me to carry out that would greatly benefit the Federation in its efforts to eradicate the space natzee scum." Cato rose from his chair and then handed Bask a folded piece of paper. "Operation Green Chip will go in affect as soon as my current duties with the 1st Independent Disco Fleet are finished." Bask skimmed through the message trying to take in all the information. Bask's eyes quickly jumped from the paper and back onto Cato's lone eye.
"It seems you are deep inside the Admiral's inner circle. I hope you understand what it will take to pull off such a operation of this magnitude." Cato smirked and walked toward the door. "It will take more then just gunning down surrendering soldiers on the battlefield Vulcan Goloni." Cato turned and looked back at Captain Ohm. The name Vulcan Goloni use to bother him when his fellow soldiers called him that behind his back. Now Cato adored the name and embraced it. The name had grown on him and he even hoped members of Zeon would begin to fear him because of what he had done while on Earth.
"I understand fully what it will take to pull this operation off Captain Ohm. I'm willing to sacrifice the well being of Federation civilians to make the space natzees suffer. Captain!" Cato quickly saluted Bask. The light from inside the room reflected off of Captain Ohm's goggles obscuring the man's eyes from where Cato stood in the room, but he could tell Bask's eye were focused on him. Cato walked out of the Captain quarters. He had not anticipated Bask being much of a obstacle to Green Chip, but it appeared to Cato that Bask may see Cato as competition inside of Jamitov's inner circle.
"What a terrible lap dog he is." Cato said to himself as he walked down a corridor and into another room.
