Going to post a bit of strategy for Fleet 1 before I post orders.
Alright, so I think we should attack the mines today, but all the PCs should leave the fleet. My reasoning is fairly simple.
1 - If we managed to capture the RF - 1 mine it would yield 1120 RP for us by next week. If drewsie and the fleet pick different targets then we could take both mines today. Which could yield even more RP! (2300 RP). 2 - This would reduce the number of patrols 3 - All the PCs in North Africa are currently damaged. 4 - It looks like the zeeks will be attacking Manila today. 5 - If we leave North Africa we will run into more patrols that are restocked again if we want to re-enter it. 6 - Leaving the fleet allows you guys not to be hit by patrols again once the fleet does take the mine. 7 - No one has to get damaged falling out of an aircraft again.

Keep in mind injured units cannot Assault or Ambush. (Of course, the upshot is that when not in a fleet, injured units cannot be attacked, either.) If you put your fleet on overwatch, (which you really, really should; you will almost certainly be attacked again to keep you from assaulting a base and to keep the PCs from healing), specify in your email that when ambushed, your initiative from Overwatch should be used to run away.
Otherwise you'll just lose more Medeas, since you can't heal at the moment.

We could go overwatch, but it probably wouldn't matter much if they did attack us anyhow.

If they attacked you, and you specified during your email that you run the hell away from any contacts you see on overwatch, you'll probably survive. Otherwise, chaos.

But what do we think the chances are that they will do that? They are probably going to attack Malta, as that seems where all their forces would be currently....

Honestly, I say we go for it. If the Dragon attacks, it attacks. Over watch or not we'd be screwed. Medea's are no match for a Gaw.
Anyway I'm sticking with you Jojo, you'll need all the help you can get and at least you have my Bloodhound and Marines.
Also I'd like to say that anyone who's injured might want to stick with the fleet because leaving would make you a sitting duck. The Zeeks could just waltz into North Africa and ambush you as you finish repairs and you'd have no where to run. Mass ambush in the middle of enemy territory is a recipe for death or capture if your lucky.

The Zeeks could just waltz into North Africa and ambush you as you finish repairs and you'd have no where to run. Mass ambush in the middle of enemy territory is a recipe for death or capture if your lucky. The reasoning behind having people leave the fleet was quite simple. It allows for them not to be in the fortification if we take the base. This would allow for them to not have to go through the patrols again. Granted that if we take RF - 1, North Africa will drop to 3 patrols next week, but it would be a nice to not have to worry about them. It gives people like the Blue Destiny also a chance to take RF-2 on monday. Furthermore if by next thursday there is not a significant force in North Africa (and we have delt with all the patrols), we might end up doing something crazy, like say.... doing a build action to make North Africa contested, leaving 0 patrols for us to deal with. This would be considered a long shot as I doubt that we will be left alone during this peroid. It will however really force the Zeeks to either split up or continue to let Fleet 2 do its dirty work.

I'll be repaired and ready for action on Monday, so I'll hit RF-2 then--I might not level it but I could maybe soften it up to the point where we could just waltz our boys in.

We need to move on RF-2 ASAP. And when we do one of our snipers needs to be solely for shooting the samson.
Hopefully with my MS team on the base with your ships my GM Sniper will recharge over the weekend.
