Alright Matthew, you, Marcus, Zero and I need to sit down and refigure some things. I've backed you to this point and there have been some hiccups, and I'm taking flak from some people, who i really don't have the patience for *Draco* and I would just as soon sacrafice him in a battle, but he's your guy, keep him in check.
I am going to be heading to Manila, and looking at their air support, rather hesitant as to how well I'll do against that aerial group. Dan will be behind me shortly. I will be discussing with Joseph and Dan the best course of action for myself to be taking in this event.
We have the 87th fleet, and the 42nd as major obstacles in our way, and our failed attempt at Malta has kinda lead us to falter a little. Matthew, you're getting a little overwhelmed, kinda looks like you're getting irritated in the chat tonight. need to calm down man. Not that bad, we can rebound.
87th Fleet: -Naval concern -Sieging Manila
42nd Fleet: -Encroaching on North Africa. -Nigel is a pain in our side.
California base: -Side missions should be approaching soon, something we need to keep an eye on.
Let us discuss best possible ways to deal with this, amongst ourselves, Only one I really wanna hear from as far as the rest of the none officers right now are Dan and Tian if they have input. A lil not happy with current situation, not in mood to listen to everyone telling us what they think we should do, especially Draco. So PLEASE let us focus and figure this out.

Also, I am not going to be throwing anyone in the bus, or pleading to the other Zeon members saying, oh I was doing this or that, it was Gaplant's idea, or whatever. That's just stupid. I just want us to get shit straight, and minimize our fuck ups in the future. We tried something really ambitious and, in the long run, stupid, now time to be a little smarter about our actions.

The major problem we seem to be having is we're being forced to fight on the defensive. I had expected the attack at Manilla to go better, but I had not expected them to purchase all the new stuff that they had.
We've had some setbacks, but we're not terribly lost.
I'm in no position to do much of anything, I'm still injured and repairing, but I had planned to move out to Africa as soon as I had finished though if we lose Manilla I could always go to Asia as well. For at least 2 more day's, I'm out of commission though.
We need to do one of two things, consolidate our forces to one of our territories currently in threat (Africa or Asia), or try and attack their territory and hope to push them on the defense. I'm not suggesting an all out assault rawr like we did on Malta, but putting one of their bases in siege when we can might force them on the defensive.
Now, I say Africa or Asia, because I do not think we have the manpower to effectively work both of those areas. We probably could, I haven't really looked over the numbers, but I would suggest Asia.
The 42nd Fleet got disbanded due to our successful op in Africa.
We could, actually, move to Asia, wait for them to cap Manilla, and then attack them right after they do. In theory they would be damaged and the base would be poorly defended at that point.
Another thing we could consider is pooling our RP together again and creating a decent fleet of some kind, that seems to be the thing they have that we can't seem to get here on Earth. If I save my money up, after next paycheck, we'd only need 551 more RP to get ahold of another Gaw.
Or for 1 More RP I could purchase a Jukon, and we could try to get a Naval Fleet going in order to do battle with their Naval Fleet.

I was going to engage the Manila siege force Wednesday... but might have to wait for support from Joseph/Dan... we shall see. I've been up for 24 hours by this point and am not thinking all that straight.

I haven't slept either, actually fixing to pass out. If I ever seem like I have no clue WTF I'm talking about, feel free to bring it up. Last time around I was just a grunt.

I am willing to give everyone a listen, especially people willing to afford the same decency. You have valid points, and I'm not going to call anyone out or say anything in disagreement openly outside these boards. They don't need to see any disagreements or problems we have, just fuels people like Draco.
So don't be afraid to speak up man, we all appreciate the input, a lot. It's going to take all of us to make this work.

Will work on! The last part I mean. I wasn't really irritated, just surprised at the sheer numbers of fighters they bought. I was being a little loud and somewhat ridiculous for fun, I'm pretty sure they picked up on that. Part of my personality I have turning off. >_< I thought it was a fairly good conversation on the differences in strategy between the EF and Zeon in the ground campaign, though. Gave me a few ideas for what we could do. This is all you guys, I'm going to be focusing on the other major concern: So far the paradrop action seems to have done the trick for now - the 42nd Brigade as a fleet has been destroyed, although 2/3 ships (Benedictus - lvl5/5 Medea, Heavily Damaged and Chicken Little - lvl 4/4 Medea B, Heavily Damaged) still remain in North Africa. Not sure what their course of action will be, it's possible that if they are feeling gutsy they might rendezvous with Blue Destiny and hit RF-2 but I have to imagine that they could be ready to head somewhere to regroup and repair. However, on the other hand, the Blue Destiny bought a Desert refit, so we have to be prepared for an extended presence by the Federation in North Africa. Being the defeatist that I am OOC, I wouldn't be surprised if Blue Destiny, the remains of the 42nd Brigade, and possibly even Des Mielle (the anti-Zeon rogue) hit RF-2 tomorrow - and I would be impressed if they didn't manage to take it. Hell, they might even take RF-1 back, who knows? It's more or less defenseless. Either RF mines in North Africa would be very takable for them. I spent all of my money on this paradrop, so I'm also going to need some RP to build it up just in case. We could also wait until the weekend for Side RP to build it back up or something, but as I just said I'm not sure we'll still own RF-1 by the time the weekend rolls around. Anyway, right now I have Draco and Andrew heading to North Africa to intercept the Blue Destiny, if the 42nd Brigade and Blue Destiny end up taking a base on Tuesday then those two are the only ones that are going to be able to stop them from stripping it on Wednesday. What are these like? I wasn't in the last OYW and I don't really remember missions from OYW III. How many people are we going to need to mobilize for them?

Yeah I know, but the ships are still there, and I'm sure if they wanted to fight they would find a way somehow. THEY ARE PLUCKY.

Andrew could do it possibly. I'll ask him on the side board.
