Well since it seems they have no concern for the Antarctic treaty, I have a feeling we should have such little care as well. Who feels like purchasing a nuclear weapon from a rogue?

Bad Idea. Nukes are far worse then killing one Marine squad, I know that sounds cruel but if you buy a nuke the Federal Forces will probably make you for a rogue officer or something.

An entire marine squad being killed is one thing, taking the step into unleashing a nuclear weapon is another. Lets say we go and take the next step and we do go and purchase a nuke and use it or we have a proxy(rogue) go and use it for us on the zeon.
The nuke is used and we wipe out ten shit loads of space nazees in a flash. Their response will be a colony drop, and I dont think it is going to be the warm, cute and, fuzzy UC "lets drop a single colony on the earth" kinda deal I would expect a few PC zeeks to get a colony or two aswell and it we would end up with something like AW gundam X kinda deal where colonies wipe the earth kinda deal. They wont walk away unscrached. We will of course unload nukes on to some Zeon space colonies aswell creating a nice body count.
We would be the ones taking the step into mass destruction first. This war right now is limited to military casulties lets not take this a step furthur then it needs to be. If you want to create dead bodies go create them amongst Zeon bases and dont start human holocaust.
