After the battle today, I went to the infirmary on the Merrimack in order to get my wound treated. Thankfully, it wasn't too bad, and while I was there, I figured I might tell the doctor about my "condition". According to her, writing a journal might be a good idea in order to keep myself sane, so here I am. Also, I saw miss Arronax in the infirmary, she still hadn't woken up. I guess piloting that thing of hers is a lot more taxing than it seems. I wonder why..
About the battle.. I can't believe what I saw today. We were trying to help a Feddie transport ship escape the battle zone, but it turns out that the Zeon thought that it would be a nice idea to use that as bait in order to trick us. I.. saw a man die right next to me. The man who were with me when we were trying to save the transport.. One moment he were still with me, talking about how he wanted to go back to his family after the war, and then suddenly he's gone.. Whoever it was that piloted that odd mobile suit must've been a brutal person, just aiming for the cockpit like that.. I guess war really is harsh..
Laura, am I really doing the right thing? I don't want to die.. What should I do.. Every time I sortie I'm afraid it might be the last, but the officers always have these crazy plans they force me to take part in.. And if anything, I'm more worried about one of the officers than the whole Zeon army. That man wants me dead. It's hard to keep myself going, but I have to, or else someone will kill me..

I found something today. Something I'd much rather not have found. It was a pretty big, black bag with a beacon of some sort on it. I decided to check what was in it, and what I saw is something I don't think I'll ever be able to forget. What was in the bag was the federation soldier that were sent with me.. or rather, what was left of him. I somehow managed to stop myself from painting the insides of my helmet with my lunch, but I could've sword I heard something. Almost like.. I heard him.
"Why didn't you save me?" "Why did you let them do this to me?" "What will my family do without me?" "It's all your fault". He kept repeating it, and I didn't stop hearing him, even after I'd left the body at the Merrimack.
I don't think I'll ever be able to sleep well again..

I'm all alone out here. The ones that were supposed to help me out just left me to fend for myself. I should've known that something was wrong when those two seemed so absent.. But no, I just HAD to follow orders. Damn it, I don't want to die out here, but who knows? Maybe those guys'll just do it themselves, finish the job.. Honestly, I've followed most of their orders without even questioning them once, and this is the thanks I get? Maybe I should flee and join the Zeon army instead.. To get revenge on those bastards trying to kill me..
And why can't I stop hearing the voice of that deceased soldier? "Why are you letting him get away with something like this?" "Don't you care about people, other than yourself?" "I can't believe this"
What the hell am I supposed to do to shut this thing up?

That damn guy still won't shut up.. If this keeps up, I'll have to shoot him, somehow.. But I don't think my gun will work properly here.. Why do I keep it with me, anyway? It's not like I'll have to fight outside the cockpit.. Hopefully. I don't know what that Golini bastard might pull, so I guess keeping it with me might help.
Anyway, they gave me new orders today. "Continue with the mission on your own. There's no guarantee that you'll get reinforcements." They basically told me to go fuck myself, I guess. Damn it, what did I do to deserve this.. I followed their orders, didn't I? They take me for granted, I'd bet the Zeon army would love to have me on their side.. Besides, what is with these guys? I think there's.. two fleets around here? I just hope they don't find me.. It'd be bad if they did.. I hid behind an asteroid today, to patch up my partner, but I'm not sure if I can fix her like this.. I'll need proper tools if there's going to be any chance to fix her completely. Hang in there, girl.. We'll be back on a ship soon.. I hope.

That guy went quiet for a few minutes today, and he almost made me thought I wouldn't have to hear his voice any more. However, that was not the case, since he deciced to start again just as suddenly as he stopped. I think he's planning to kill me.. I'll need to kill him first, though..
I think I made it to Side 4 unnoticed, but I'm not sure, I just saw one fleet go somewhere else.. I hope they didn't see me.. Also, I got a decrypted message during the trip. "Someone you know will show up on the Caratan". Who would be so reckless to post a message like that to someone behind enemy lines? Honestly, I can't really think of anybody.. I just hope it's not Golini.

What is this stuff they feed us with? It's like some sort of goo.. and it tastes like nothing.. I can't wait until I get back to the ship and can cook some proper food, hell, even a hamburger would work right now.. Either way, I think I'm running out of it, and I have to make sure that guy doesn't get any.. He doesn't deserve any, that lazy bastard.. All he does is moan and yell at me all day, doesn't he have anything better to do? I guess all he does is disturb me all the time.. I should get rid of him.. Or else he might finally get to me.
And the Zeeks, what are they planning.. I think I saw them strenghten two of the three mines in this area, and I think I saw someone heading this way.. One big one, and a smaller one.. Guess I'll have to be careful now that they've noticed me.

I should've known that thing was a trap. I should've known, and I'm pretty sure I knew, but why didn't I act according to what I knew? I knew, I knew, I knew, I knew. How long have I been out here, all on my own, except for that guy, who is seeming less and less responsive each day. I need someone to talk to, badly.. What the hell am I supposed to do, anyway? I've got my partner damaged so badly.. I think her left arm's stopped moving completely, and I can't seem to get the right leg to move, either.. She's almost naked, the poor girl, and she's been shot in the chest, as well.. Don't worry, I'll be sure to patch you up good once I have the chance to do so, but now we need to get as far away from here as possible, I think the Zeon army have some nasty surprises for me, and I'd much rather not get them, if there's any way to avoid it..

We've been here in the... space-space of Side 6 for a day already, but it seems like there are a ton of Zeon soldiers and ships in the close vicinity to us, so we have to stay here for a little while, I guess.. Speaking of which, having some actual company here feels great, although she is sleeping right now. We've been taking turns keeping watch while the other is sleeping. This means I won't have much time to talk to her which, in all honesty, probably is a good thing. Who knows what she might be planning. But to be honest, she's kinda cute when she's calm..
Anyway, we probably need to get going soon, so I'm probably gonna sleep for a while before that.. Also, this damn collar is too itchy, but when I tried to scratch around it I got a shock so bad it felt like my head was going to explode.. guess she were serious about it, huh.

I know I haven't really been keeping up with my writing, but I've had to keep this journal hidden from the Zeon forces, and that was easier said than done. Speaking of the Zeon forces.. I have a hard time fitting in here on the ship called Lucifer's Fury. Most of the crew seems to ignore me, almost as if they already knew my secret.. I hope that little Florian boy didn't tell anyone, that would be awful. It would be really bad if he told that captain or that other woman about me, I'd be in real trouble if that happened.. That captain is really frightening, much more than that big guy she's got under her..
Also, ever since.. she.. died I've seen things. Things I know aren't real, but that I cannot ignore. I just KNOW they aren't real, but still, seeing her walking around everywhere scares me. And I hardly even knew her, so what would happen if someone I actually knew met the same fate? I'm scared..
