Well I guess we'll just have to buy another Big Tray then tommorow so we only lose a day. Two Big Trays loaded with aircraft should still be plenty.

I think even if it means copying and pasting the entire conversation back in here, we should set up some kind of group EFGF meeting on IRC to get everybody on the same page and figure out what we are doing after Manilla. It seems like we've been making a lot of mistakes on the whole lately that might have been prevented if we were all on the same page. (Not just Jojo, I've made some, and I know others have made some too.)
And since nobody else seems to want to do it, I'll be starting an 87th Integrated Fleet RP sometime tomorrow afternoon. Feel free to join in whenever or beat me to it. I'm happy either way.

I don't think it's a matter of you messing up, Jojo. We all make mistakes. What is disconcerting is that the officers are not on the same page or we don't get any input from them, which then confuses everyone else. Plus, you shouldn't do all the officer work like send out orders for each player every single we attack a base...it can get exhausting on your end.
Plus, it isn't that bad - Xavier Brennan ended up retreating to Central Asia with his Gaw. Let's take advantage of this and destroy Manila today.
Edit: Actually, Xavier Brennan left the Gaw in Central Asia, but he's with his Z'Gok and amphibious mobile suit team in East Asia. Perhaps I can swap my Tin Cods for the GM Divers on the Golden Platypus and hunt him down before he does any damage to the Fleet.

I think what would most benfit us would having our own IRC channel. The Zeeks have one and i guess thats how they orginase last minute or long term planning. Its just a thought.

Oh no they organize better because Chan is a ridiculous planner, he has everyone's actions planned out for weeks in advance with diagrams showing possible enemy movements and such (which might I add, he edits EVERYDAY!) It's scary. But that's the space forces. The Earth Zeonic forces however don't seem to display such a level of organization, at least it looks like their about where we are. Actually in war gains I'd say were ahead since it took them so long to just take one base. We took out a mine and are about to take a base. Anyway perhaps we might start thinking of exactly what we want to do after Manila? It seems our main goal (like last run) has been to deprive the Zeon of side RP which I think we've accomplished by taking out well one of their mines in North Africa and to our good luck our friend Des Mielle took out their South African operation. Soon enough we'll have taken Manila then...? We could play defensive and try the predict the Zeons movements, but I don't think that's our style besides it could get boring. So then we need targets. Mexico City seems the most lightly defended, Vladivostok could be an option as well unless you guys want to get daring and take a big base like Hughendon? I've seen lots of ideas kicked around nothing discussed in terrible detail. I guess Ill jump on IRC tonight so we can kick some more ideas around. Man I sure ramble on sometimes... |
