Umm... Not to be rude, but what do you call Malta? We injected a huge sum of manpower and RP into Europe last week, so we could take down that base and prepare a staging area for Europe. I know it's seemed like a long time ago, but it's been exactly four updates since Malta fell. I think it's a little off to say we haven't done anything in the rest of the world, when it's pretty clear the strategy of tieing them down in East Asia so we could take Malta really did work...
I question whether or not we should repair the port next week. It's 100 RP during a week where we're scrounging for every point, and we don't have any naval ships that will be stationed there until at least next week or the following.
Otherwise, repairing the airfield and barracks sounds like an A+ capital idea.
Hmm. I realize the War Factory is a good investment in the long run, but 2000 RP is basically our entire terrestrial side's salaries for an entire week. Wouldn't it be better to just pump that money into a Dodbay and some other defense/offense options at Malta?
I don't know if we can sally forth to protect Morrigan. She's not listed at Manila. Again, I think the real pressure will come Tuesday -- when it's repaired enough to make the trip back to Central Asia. In that case, Chris and I can overwatch. The worst thing that happens is they draw PCs or resources away from their fleet, freeing up the Africa Korps and Duncan to do more damage to the besieging fleet.

No real reason to buy a Dobday just for it to sit there and do nothing for weeks. :p

Alrighty then. I'll send out the email tomorrow instructing everyone on what we're doing. We'll hit the Big Tray and try and take it down.

The reason we would purchase a Dodbay is to prepare for Belfast. If we sit it at Malta, it also provides defense for the base. I'm not sure how it "does nothing" for two weeks :p.
Even so, the Dodbay was just a quick suggestion. If there are other options you think would both help us prepare for Belfast, which would also double as a means to defend Malta, I'm definitely open to ideas.
Also, I want to apologize if the post above came off as combative. It wasn't meant to be, but seems to read that way when I go back over it.

You're so mean! I just don't see the Dobday being especially important this early since we are (by my estimates) at least 2-3 weeks away from assaulting Belfast, especially when I can't really see any kind of significant EF force attacking anytime soon. I'd much rather take the RP that would be spent on a Dobday and buy a few mobile suits or aircraft / tanks to replenish the Gaws after the Baneblade attack, and save the rest to get a War Factory ASAP. Also, I would suggest that you guys title your posts based on Week # and then location of interest as far as letting everyone know what's going on on the main Zeon side board. Just an opinion, but it feels a little easier to find / look over pertinent information (to me) when there is just one thread per week about a particular location (Malta or Europe, East Asia or Manila, etc) that is continually updated. That may just be me, though. I think I even broke my own rule asking Ryocha if she wanted to duel, so who knows!

nods
Depending on how the ships end up after the Baneblade attack, I think restocking their MS teams and tanks isn't a bad idea at all.
The War Factory, I'm a little bit confused by. I know it's 2000 RP that could eventually turn into infinite RP, but if we're worried about taking Belfast within 2 - 3 weeks I wonder if it wouldn't be better to simply devote that 2000 RP into either that Dodbay we're going to have to buy, the Jukons, or (as you said) mobile suits for the Gaws or the Dodbay or the Jukons. The War Factory would take longer than our timeline for Belfast to begin producing gains -- indeed, it might put us down by 500 RP overall (at least before the attack). It seems like a War Factory would also be more secure at a fortress (*points at Belfast*), rather than a fortification.
I'll try and do the week thing if it helps people. I never had a problem finding stuff, so long as it's labeled something like "ZGMF", but a little organization never hurt nobody.

Didn't see that Belfast had a War Factory already, to be honest. I just would really like us to have 1-2 by the time Odessa rolls around so we have thousands of RP (in theory) that we can all upon at all. So it's cool if we end up getting one out of Belfast.
As far as the forum thing goes it isn't a big deal, just a random thought I had since I have been forgetting to check the boards every day the last couple weeks, so a few threads with similar titles and themes all have "New" on them to me. >_>
But yeah I'm out of here for tonight, heading to hang out with a friend. I probably won't be able to contribute much to the boards until after work tomorrow night, but so far everything looks good. Just need to get the RP requests straightened out and we should be good to go for Monday, nice job guys.
tl;dr version is I'll be back tomorrow night to make sure I'm ready for Monday!
