We sort of discussed this in the other thread, but I wanted to do a more detailed analysis of what we could possibly field at Belfast by next week. I'm just gonna post the data right now. When I get done with class and napping later tonight, I'll add more (though replies in the interim are greatly appreciated).

Quick Thoughts
- We absolutey would destroy them MS-to-MS. We have significantly more experience per unit, and nearly three times as many suits. Tech-wise, they've got some nice GM Gs, and three GMPGTs, but those aren't nearly a match against stuff like our Doms or the Rhinocerous.
- Infantry we are certainly lacking on. Numbers and experience belong to them, handily.
- Vehicle-wise, we're about even in terms of numbers. They've got the experience advantage.
- Flight support is also bad for us, if you just measure it in terms of aircraft. However, we've got the Gaws, which help us out immensely. Experience is in their favor, but we've got some pretty experience Dopps peppered amongst the ranks. Considering our firepower, I think the air belongs to us.
- Ships are no contest. Aside from that Big Tray, we are superior to them in every regard. Our Gaws cut through the Himayalas and Hillocks nicely, as we've seen in previous events.
- Tactically, if we scout the base, we really have a favor here simply because of the Excelsior.
- It may be worthwhile to redirect some funds into the Goggs. Two of them with Ace pilots were pretty effective at hammering away on Belfast in the show, and gave Amuro a run for his money. We've got 2 x L4 Goggs on one Jukon now, thanks to Marina. If we got rid of one Gogg from the other ship, and replaced it with Xavier, we'd have an extra 300 RP. That's 200 that could go into one Gogg to bump its pilot up to L4 (and L5, again thanks to Marina). So we'd just need to come up with another 100 RP to get 2 x L5 Gogg.
I think we could take them, honestly. The reason I'd like to see this plan accelerated is that we no longer have Manila to distract the Federation. They could jump up to Europe the moment they're done repairing, and end this for us here and now.
