We started doing all the expandable dropdown menus last run. There are menus on the index, roster pages, rules page, shop pages, and bases page.
Since then I have gotten mixed reviews about them. Some people think they are awesome, other people think they are super annoying.
I want to see what the concensus is amongst you guys, so vote it up.

I find it annoying on the bases page put think they're fine on the roster.

I think the bases page really really needs them. Except it's really annoying when I'm checking a bunch of them out, and they collapse every time I go back.

Bases page is pretty difficult to navigate, roster works well though.

I like them all but the base pages for reasons already stated.

Fine for everything but the bases page. Reasons have pretty much been explained.

I only like them for the sidebar. I like having all a division's profiles open so I can just scroll through them to compare instead of having to open each one separately.

I only like them for the sidebar. Don't forget the table of contents in the shop/rules. Though I wish the EFF and rogue shops had a better devised table of contents that featured tanks and aircraft. It's a bit of a pain to select "General" and scroll down 2 pages to find the subcategory.

I have issues with the drop down menus, particular where I have to manually select which window I am scrolling from (in my browser it shows as two sets of scroll bars, which means just pressing the down arrow may not move the desired window).
That's my biggest complaint with them. On the main navigation bar they are fantastic, on roster pages, not so much. A lot of the functionality of the drop down menus can simply be spread out to more windows. The downside of this is that it is more places you would need to update.

I like them, overall. Makes searching for things easier.

Andrew, I don't understand why the dds are giving you two scroll bars.
You should only have two scroll bars if you have a really tiny screen resolution, or if you disable scripts.

SCALES. AUFFHFD
Also, the bases page wasn't my idea. And there is NO WAY to make the drop down's stay open if you go back or something. That is just toooo much javascripting. TOOOO MUCH. If any of you can figure it out, by all means.

Yup, demo one is indeed staying open when you click back on your browser.
