Gaws are there to conduct the paradrop action, letting us get into East Asia without fuss. Kind of the important aspect of the plan.
Hmm... Honestly, though, thinking about it a bit more... If our goal is simply destroy New Delhi, I question whether or not we want that many ground forces (MS) in the mix. We could take the skies and bomb them into submission just as easily as deploying any PCs. I'd go along for the ride, but Duncan and Xavier and the Afrika Korps would be able to move to North America and help with White Base.

I suggested using the Aquatic suits to blow the shit out of the AA and MPC emplacements for the sole reason of giving added protection/coverage to the air elements, specificly the Gaws. Not to be mean to anyone who spent money on them or what not, the normal Gaw's are more expendable then the Excelsior is. Granted, they are expensive in their own right, but we can always buy new ones, we can't buy a new Excelsior until someone gets lucky enough to win another one.
The usefulness of the Excelsior is great. Now, for New Delhi, I do suggest using mostly air elements and artillery to just bomb it into oblivion. With the aquatic suits acting as I suggested, to take out the MPC's and Anti-Air weaponry.

One last thing I didn't know before: Apparently the Federation also gets PCs at the White Base event? If so, scratch my proposal -- at least for now. We should get those Gaws to North America.
I would like to bring it up at a later date, though. It seems like taking New Delhi would be extremely simple, and help us turn the tide in East Asia decidedly back in our favor.

Yeah, the Feddies get PC's in the event as well. That's probably why their fleet has moved to the Pacific, they probably got a message about going and helping White Base while we got a message later about confirmation of the attack on White Base.
Not sure if that's really what happened, but I don't see any reason why they would all leave except a rather minimal presence, they are also probably planning to move the elements in East Asia to NA via the Arctic like we planned or something. Anyways.
So are we all to hit White Base instead?

I think that'd ultimately be for the best. We can still use the New Delhi proposal, just at a later date. For a fortress, it seems particularly vulnerable. I could even see us attacking Belfast one week, and then taking New Delhi the very next week.
White Base is it, then. Think we can still organize that RP drive next week, to start setting up a fleet at Malta?

At the very least, White Base will give us MOAR Time to HARVEST MORE VESPENE GAS.
Err..I mean, collect more RP.

Alternatively, we could leave the Gaws at Malta, and just get the RP to someone at California Base. Buy a big fleet to attack White Base, and what's left over, we can move to Europe in preparation for Belfast. This seems like the better of the two scenarios, since it doesn't leave Malta undefended for a time.
