The 9th Combined Operation Fleet (sans Dragon) will be moving to California to support the event. Leadership will be transferred to Chris on Monday.

At the least, stick Marina and Dan on different vessels. I don't think the buffs stack, and we don't want to waste them.

Hmm. It seems like there's a bit more bad blood involved between Matthew and Dan than just the present circumstances, but I do need to step in and say it's not fair to come down on Matthew for Belfast. Hitting it (or New Delhi) next week was my idea to start off; he and the other officers backed it after I presented the logistics. I was hoping to explain the plan a little more, but ran into real life obligations, and asked Matthew to make the post for me.
I still think it'd have been a doable operation, even with Ryer, considering the multi-tiered attack strategy and our level of MS involvement. But either way, I'll happily take the blame for the proposal.
At the same time, I will say I agree with the troubling lack of a defensive posture. Once we own Europe, East Asia, or both, I think War Factories and mines are the absolute highest priority. That, and smaller operations to ruin their naval convoys in the same way two of their people and a dandy rogue waltzed around Africa and destroyed ours.
I'd go into greater detail, but that's not what this topic is about. I just don't want Matthew drawing flak where he doesn't deserve.
Anyways. Aside from really wanting a Jukon there, and the Stilva and Excelsior, what else are we looking at fielding? Since you all have been through this before, what can we expect in terms of NPC support? Looking back on the show, I remember large attack groups accompanying Garma. Are we considered these attack groups in OYW, or will we be working with those NPCs in addition to our PCs and PC-owned ships?
I'm headed to bed now, but I'll try and reply when I wake up tomorrow.

Zero, I've thrown a lot away at other, now meaningless, events... So calm down, and Dan, stop being a whore and be a little more sensible. I agree with you, White Base is a priority. It will up our personal RP income across the board, impact events in future, and could end favorably and quite differently than actual story.
To say its not important and that we should focus on a base, that is not much value with out belfast in pocket too is a lil short sighted I feel. This is a major event for reason, major story point that requires our attention. So we need to get on same page on this...

I didn't say we should focus on a base, I've been for the event. I have not, however, been in favor of us our selves destroying Malta for no reason other then the White Base event is here. We might be worried that Malta would get attacked, but even then if it does that means they attacked it, which means some of them didn't go into the event. What happens then? Malta is either destroyed or Malta is captured and is then re-captured by us as soon as the White Base event is over.
Yes, I know you've thrown RP away at Manilla. I never said the White Base event was meaningless. What I did do was illustrate how absolutely retarded it is for him to waltz around going he'll terminate support of us? Then what'll happen? The SS Can't exactly do much on earth without the TAF. So I mean, really, what good would that accomplish?
He could argue we're incompetent for not throwing everything at the White Base, and we can argue right back that he's incompetent for not wanting to cover our asses. Yes, I believe White Base is more important, no, I don't think we should just leave everything at Malta, all I said was I didn't know what Gap planned to do with the Gaws, and suggested we tried to keep the Excelsior in reserve because it's a prize ship.
But destroying Malta our selves would just be lame. I welcome the Feddies to see Malta as an open target and divert resources to hitting Malta, it just means they'll be diminished during the White Base event.
If that makes any sense.
Edit: I didn't type all of that out right away because I was busy being pissed at Gihren's Greed. Fucking bastard AI cheats. IT CHEATS

I'm the SS Officer, Dan can alienate himself from everyone else on Earth, but I'm not pulling our support. And I'm not for destroying Malta either.

By the looks of things, I might be in for a tussle on Tuesday if the EFGF decides to have their carrier leave New Amsterdam in time to intercept me. Can anyone send me 25 RP on Monday so I can buy services on Tuesday if I feel paranoid? Edit: Also, there's nothing stopping the Gaws from Paradropping on New Amsterdam on Monday, is there? Catch a carrier, a Medea, and a PC or two.

I think that it's pretty much settled though. Gap said he's going to camp Europe with the Dragon, so that leaves us a pretty strong force just to sit in Europe while most of our PCs duke it out in North America. That also leaves us in a good position to prep for Belfast either to continue the momentum if we win, or to turn it back in our favor if we lose.

Are there any rogues we can pay to scout the ruins of Seattle for us, to help us locate the White Base?
Edit: Also I really need someone to get to North America FAST. I need to spar ASAP so I can not have 50% VP at the time of the event.

Aww. You go to bed while mom and dad fight, and wake up to sweet, sweet lovin'. It's a wonderful day in the Fuhrerland.
If Matthew wants, I'll divert from North America and help out with New Amsterdam. I'm cool either way.

I'm already moving into position for the attack~
And while Brad did strike out a bit harshly, I can understand his frustration with not being seen as a viable asset. Him and I had often get left out of initial allied force tallies earlier on in the game, and I'd be lying if I said I hadn't been pissed as well. I've said on numerous occasions that I'm open, and then every time I'm left out until I've had to say "I exist too, yanno". It'd be great if you could, you know, admit at least that much. =\
