Well crap guys, I feel short of the amount of RP required for us to build a fortress. I hold myself responsible as I should not have spent as much as I did on the units I got in an attempt to capture the Gaw. A clear lack of planning on my part. I am sorry. This means unfortunately we will not have north america seal off before the Seattle event with white base.
This leaves us with some other options. I still think we should seal of North America and if we did it even after week 8 it would be a decent strategy.
I am going to ask the combined fleet right now to head to new amsterdam and everyone else head to the west arctic, it will be a nice place for us to wait and threat any zeon forces that want to move into North America before any actions take place. Let me know what you guys think of this idea. If you don't plan on participating in the White base events let me know.

I think this event could really force our decisive battle with the Zeon fleet.
I propose a timetable that goes:
Today: Fleet Continues to Move to Honolulu, Himalaya moves back to Pacific
Monday: Fleet rests a day at Honolulu and repairs two damage levels per ship
Tues: Fleet moves to Pacific and joins up with Himalaya
Wed: We move into North America, probably having to fight some patrols
Thursday: Event

But if you don't want to risk the fleet I can understand that. Perhaps we put the fleet on patrol in the West Arctic to attempt to intercept the Zeon fleet. Buy a few snipers and stock up our aircraft and all.
The main advantage of the attack is everyone who participates gets promoted so I think if we do split between attack defense we should make sure to send those people who will be getting +50 RP as opposed to +25 RP at their next rank.
These people are:
-Jim Irwin
-Cray Vermillion
-Aurem Senaiha
-Seth Yamanu
-Jane Sheppard
-Slade Garadan
-Thorvald Siggurdson
These people should definitely partcipate in the Whitebase event.

Leave the fleet out of this. A fleet will get hit with way too much firepower with patrols. Send individual ships and leave the Hillocks at home. Perhaps we should make a fleet with 3 Medeas, load some PC MS on them and Paradrop onto the airborne patrol on Wednesday since it's the only one that could really do anything. On Thursday the PC's could get off the Medeas (non-action) and buy MS to fill out their MS team. That way we sort of sneak in and multiply our MS forces right before the attack. I'm trying to get into North America today so we would have 9 Tin Cods in the Medea support slots (plus possibly an extra 2-3 on the Medeas themselves) in addition to myself and MS team (4 Tin Cods) who could attack the Airborne patrol as you paradrop on them. So our PC's MS get into North America, hopefully undamaged. The rest of the fleet - Himalaya, Big Tray, Hillock could stay in West Arctic patroling and hoping to intercept the Zeon fleet. |

On second thought, Feyd is right. The Himalaya is vulnerable to the patrolling Jukon and I can't destroy it before the event.
Would it be possible for me to take my MS Team on one of these Medeas, I have level 5 GM Divers!

I would like to remind everyone that Zeon could always just use Orbit to skip patrols.
Either build spaceports or take down Zeon's, guys.
