I get used to this junk quickly, to be honest...I should be going around recruiting MUD players. I think experience with those help the whole grasping of the situation.

Heh. I have trouble even getting my friends to watch anime, let alone anime with giant robots that look like Megazords. One time a buddy of mine and I went through a liter of vodka together, and he wanted to try out CCA. Not pretty. Though it was kind of hilarious when we got to the part where Quess is being hit by Newtype backlash and yells out: "They're all coming into me!"

Really, as much fun as this thread is, it doesn't serve much of a practical purpose. The fact is that we knew from the outset that the Federation stuff would outpace us eventually, we are Zeon because we like our shiny boots, and curbstomping GMs.
In terms of PC vs. PC combat, we are a bit behind in terms of mobile suits, but for the most part this can be offset with better tactics, and not relying on direct combat (one vs. one situations) to win the battle. They have to do this in order to beat us. As long as we refuse to allow them that kind of engagement we really don't have much to fear.
In terms of NPC forces, we have an advantage as we can buy 2 Doms, and 2 Zakus for each GMPGT they purchase. Heck, we can even purchase 4 Goufs for each GM G they field. With the exception of armor, each Gouf has virtual parity in terms of performance with the GM G.
Each side has its own advantages. Plus once we mass produce the Byg Zam...
