There was a woman a week back who came into Loblaws, into our separate Joe department asking to return about fifteen articles of clothing she bought from the Real Canadian Superstore and some assbackwards No Frills out in Renfrew. Firstly, she shouldn't have been able to return items from different corporate stores.
Secondly, when she presented the receipt, the items were bought from August and June. We have a two-week return policy which I told her about, and she called bullshit on me and said she was able to return clothing items at all the other stores but this one. Immediately, I called my manager. No response. I called the floor manager. No response. I explained for half an hour to this lady why she couldn't possibly return the items, and she and a lady behind her called me a lying bitch and told me how horrible I and our company was.
Eventually, the floor manager came and told her that, because the clothing items were a corporate brand, that she could return them. The lady flipped me off when she left, and now we have to somehow sell items from the Spring and Summer collections in with the Fall and Winter collections. I got curious and called up the RCSS that she mentioned while ranting, and apparently she did the same thing she did with us: Bitch enough to the manager to get a refund.

People who freak out because they lost their purse, make racist remarks and blame the black cashiers, scream at the managers because we cant do much, call the police department to file a theft report, while wasting my time to review footage, only to find the purse in their fucking car. This happens often, most of the time its their dumb ass fault for not HOLDING ONTO THEIR BELONGINGS. Fucking moron ass pieces of shit. Yesterday I had to deal with a 12 pack corona spill. A fucking guest just drops it, doesn't even apologize or offer help and walks away. Pissed me off because I had to wait for half an hour for help with it since it was huge, and because of Target policy. No one came and I ended up using a whole roll of paper towels, absorb and a swiffer. As if I didn't have other things to do. not getting your yearly raise. I got my 6 month raise and it was 6 cents....yeah. |

I hate repeating myself to them, I hate the kids, I hate how I make the alphabet look so damn easy, I hate how they make it seem to damn hard, I hate having a boss with no experience and won't break his leash and stop being the bitch for the store manager next door, I hate said bitch calling in workers from the other store who are told directly not to sell and don't care what happens, I hate workers from said other story doing absolutely nothing including not having the CCTV running properly for about 14 days total and them not getting shit, I hate bosses that think they can pull off the young thing, I hate bosses that ignore promotion paperwork and training 5 months in since they want to call bitches from other store over instead of filling holes, I hate boss who thinks that managers with 6 years experience and crappy pay and a shrugged off promotion would "teach them everything you know" to new employees, and the last one is very special since I've only met one man in the world who has ever done it but I most defiantly hate a man who comes into a store I've worked and run for the past 3 years and know like the back of my hand and takes paperwork of work to be done in under a week and tell you "No, I don't want you to do this. Do this!" like he's yelling at a toddler.
I guess that is when I noticed I should let this man dig his own grave and stopped following behind him fixing his mistakes. Dumbass didn't secure a laptop so I'm not surprised that went out the door, he opened and didn't put in the CCTV tape, and they tried to cram a week or two worth of transfer paperwork into the last second to notice the dummy never changed the systems clock for daylight savings, so when they went to push the paperwork through it was already past midnight and the fools couldn't transfer a thing.
I hate my job.

I hate how customers come up to me and start bitching at me about the people working in the departments and they demand i give them 10% off of their entire purchase...
Then they get more bitchy when I tell them i cant and only a manager comes. Oh and then theres the times when we only have one cashier and customers yell at me because we don't have any backups.

The drunk shop lifters that almost ran me over in their get away after taking an item off of layaway with a credit card and walking around the store for a couple of hours stealing additional items all of which gave us their name, address, telephone number, license plate number, and plenty of footage to hand over to the police.
