It was very pretty. I like the world created. I love the neural network idea. I WAS hoping for a more unique story line, but the movie's wasn't bad. The CG was great. Overall, I very much enjoyed it and was quite into the movie. The 3D wasn't that engaging though... I could barely tell it was 3D most of the time.

Cheesy in some areas, 3D wasn't as prevalent as I expected, but otherwise it was enjoyable to watch.
Not enough alien sex though.

I thought it died off 15 years ago bcause no one cared. Apparently I'm alone in that opinion now.

Nah, I kinda remember those times too. I'm not sure pseudo-3D will ever be anything more than a gimmick.

Well they're starting to get better with 3d, the tech is always moving forward, but I don't see it going mainstream until you can see it 3d without the glasses. Which isn't that far off. But the movie itself was okay. As I was watching it I was running off a Trope checklist in my head. it was pretty straightforward as everyone's said, and something similar to the 7 Years War would have been more interesting, as someone brought up.
