The Jukons require Don Escargot, which we've had success with.
Or Aleksei. That works too.

Jet Core Boosters are dive bombers, they don't work well against Gaws. A combination of Depp Rogs and Snipers would probably would be our best bet for taking down Gaws but that also requires a lot of Tin Cods to protect the Depp Rogs.

Despite the fact that JCB are not the best against Gaws they are not TERRIBLE against Dopps either which is nice since they are a good mix of fighter and bomber. I would recommend a mixture of them in any force we decide to use.

I have to agree with Feyd - Europe and North Africa should be the focus of the next few weeks to prepare for Odessa. We have three potential targets: Alexandria, Constantinople and Archangelisk. Obviously Archhangelisk would be the easiest to take out in one swoop. However, we must find a way to destroy it without tipping off the Zeeks. If not, we're going to have another Manila even with naval tactical advantage (fully stocked Himalaya, Hillocks, Guncannon HDT and an amphibious assault Gundam). Some of my concerns for this week: 1. New Amsterdam: I'm afraid if we concentrate too much with an offensive the Zeeks might catch us with our pants down and destroy the base. 2. Gaws: We need a more efficient way to deal with them. More GM Snipers? Strikey as Core Booster? Bringing 50 Tin Cods to every battle? Let's throw around ideas, babes. 3. Apsalus II: If it gets to Earth Orbit, it can strike ANYWHERE. I will be heading to Rio de Janeiro to get the Waterproof Gundam, which will transfer the Aqua GM to a member of my MS Team. The East Arctic gives us just as much of a spring board to attack Odessa as does the North Africa or Europe. The fortresses of Alexandria and Constantinople still would be out of reach in relationship to the sheer number of mobile suits at these locations. We have made one blow to Zeon control of Earth Orbit and the current aspalus lacks the massive cannon correct? I would agree that we need to think about how to properly defend our West Arctic / New Amsterdam territory now.

Nnnnnno, the Apsalas is about to upgrade into Apsalas II, which does have a huge fucking cannon.
Also, we've done nothing to Zeon's control over orbit. Cima's patrol was replaced the next week.

Earth orbit is now reduced to one patrol due to our control over the West Arctic.

I just had a stroke of genius perhaps, looking at the base Vladivostok:
12x Dopp 4x SAM 10x AA
That is the ONLY anti air defense they have there!
Now what is cheap and fun?
Medeas!
I can make a medea fleet with a very small amount of RP and fill it with Tin Cods and Depp Rogs, this would effectively allow me to bomb the crap out of the base with 3 medeas for a long while as I held a strange hold on the base via a seige. The howizter is 100% useless and so are all of their aquatic mobile suits! Its cheap and it just might work!
So here is the total cost for my attack force and it can begin the seige in three days.
2 x Medea + Refit: 315 * 2 = 630 6 x Depp Rog = 36 * 6 = 216 4 x Jet Core Booster = 30 * 4 = 120 6 x Tin Cod = 9 * 6 = 54 2 x Don Escargots = 36 * 2 = 72 1 x Dish = 36
Total: 1128 RP
Thats a smaller amount of RP for a possible large amount of damage on a base with limited air defenses. It is better then bringing a himalaya or anything of the such too because then their marine mobile suits can engage it.

Please keep in mind your reduced budget, and the fact you have to pay for New Amsterdam.

Well if the fleet stays in the West Arctic then there is less of an urgent need for a large defensive force at the New Amsterdam.

You would need to purchase fighter supports to assure air superiority but otherwise it's a good plan. Don't forget that the Jukon could also throw a large number of missles at you.
I still vote for hitting Archangelisk instead though.

I would concentrate New Amsterdam's defense before you launch your attack on the East Arctic. Nevertheless, the bombing raids will certainly distract the Zeeks while we prepare for larger operations. I vote for Archangelisk and getting a new Hillock for the attack.

Archangelisk doesn't gain us anything immediately though. I would agree that we should look at hitting it however.

I could perform the same sort of operation against Archangelisk as well, BUT they have Dodai YS and it could get VERY VERY VERY ugly for me in the air.

Agreed. But the idea is to hit Archangelisk while you are in the East Arctic, hopefully you lured enough Zeeks by then to make the European affair a breeze.
