Alright, normally we only plan 2-3 weeks in advance at most. But that leaves us 100% in defensive mode, and we never keep initiative.
Furthermore, EFSF and EFGF are not wholly independent, and for long range goals it is possible to co-ordinate.
Now, I've been so busy trying to pull the EFSF out of the position it's in I haven't given thought to what we should do overall; besides, this isn't just my game, or blackmage's, or jojo's.
I want to know what you guys would like to accomplish in the OYW. It can range from personal vendettas, to RP reasons, to strategic superiority; but I want to know how you guys want to leave a mark on this game. We'll sort through ideas for impracticality and contradiction later; I just want you guys to write down what you would love to do.

I would like to have Jarvis lead large, high-risk base attacks. Unless I redeem his view of himself, I want him to be in charge if one fails. I have a fun RP direction to take things in.

I want to get a ship so I can make the NPC crew/pilots I've thought out.
Oh, and I guess I want to take Side 3 etc. Preferbably from far away using a sniper rifle or cannon.
And getting a better suit would be nice. One like the Guncannon MPT or the Sniper II..

I have 3 goals. One I can do but it will require me to work hard at it the other two depend on the circumstances.
1.Get a gundam or a experimental mobile suit like I did last time. This I think I can do I just need to rp my ass off and stay active.
2.Free up another npc fleet. It would be nice to free up another one is the situation in space permits.
3. Maintain a more members then Zeon space. The more members we have the more rp will be coming in and the more people we will have to kicks ass. I've been busting my ass trying to find people from back in the day in msgwar to try and get them to join. This is a work in progress.

uhhh.... plans... plans... I don't really have any. I didn't really think my character through all that much, and now I don't know what to do with him. If we were in better shape right now I'd honestly let him die and start over. But, I'll finish out the rpg with him and try to make a better character next time.

I have no clue what I want to do with my character; I'm doing what I always do, create them and then just go with the flow with whatever happens around them. At least, in my own way of going with the flow. What I would like to do in a game-sense is obviously win the war. I'll settle for a stand-still though. I'd also like to see our fleet strength and general economic power increase. As far as how I want my character to be engaged in our actions, I really enjoy filling the role of a long range precision striking unit.

My character's been getting awfully comfortable with Arieta, but it seems almost like he's forgotten about his half brother. I think he's probably going to need a reminder of that sooner rather than later to keep my RPing interesting. (Assuming you people thought it was to begin with.) Only ways I can see this happening are:
1) a trip to Australia might remind him with the crater. I can only see this happening if we assault Hughendon.
2) Actually meeting or hearing mention of his half-brother somewhere. This would be a little harder for me, as I didn't coordinate with any Zeon PC's about this, nor do I know how I would get an NPC into a battle like that.
Failing that, I suppose I could kill his half brother and have it basically be just another conversation topic, but I don't really like where that takes me. Thoughts on that would be appreciated if you want to PM them or something.
On a completely separate note, I have an extremely strong distaste for the character of Aldo P. Armistad. I should actually rephrase that. I hate that the characters were unashamedly stolen straight out of the movie. For that I would like them to perish. Although I do admit that I'm less annoyed by it as time goes on, so by next month maybe I won't care so much.
Other than that I would really like to be involved in more group RP type stuff. It makes me feel like my character is actually tied into the rest of the world than his own little story that's just happens to be occurring at the same time. It might take more planning, but perhaps more group RP goals? (I'd actually like to talk to you some about this sometime whenever I get IRC working again, Jojo.)
Finally, I'd like to keep more ahead of where I 'm going with my character and the RPG in general. Lately I've mostly been just reacting and taking it day by day, but I fear once I get stuck doing long hours at work again, I'll start to fall behind on RPing because I won't have thought about where I'm going with it. And thinking takes brain power. And stuff. To that end, thanks for making this thread Latooni. I've been wondering for a while what other peoples long term/RP plans were, but for some reason never thought to actually ask.

Alright, another new goal. Kill Daren's new character, somehow. Preferbably by dropping a giant colony or something on him.

A colony drop might be taking it a tad too far. If time and circumstances permits we will just get someone in a GM Sniper to do the job for us.

This is my first RPG run so at first i didnt really have any idea where to take my character, but now I'm getting more into the role playing part of things and i have a few ideas. Im going to flush them out and repost please feel free to be brutal in your judgements.
As for the war itself winning will be a plus but the high-risk base attacks sound like they could be fun for now. Especially if they were random and constant; it would force the Zeon to have to react to us a lot more and hopfully it would split there force's while they try to catch up to our random attacks.

1. Get Ela into a GM as an Enlisted Civilian. 2. Possibly get a Gundam, but I'm fine with my GM S. (Curious, does Ket consider the Pixie Gundam an official OYW mobile suit? www.mahq.net/Mecha/gundam/crossdimension/rx-78xx.htm ) 3. Get my own ship. 30th is my last day at work, so I'll be able to rp a whole lot more.

Hirsch has become somewhat cruel, realizing he must be just as evil to counter Zeon. My character has two primary objectives:
1. Rescue New York City (his hometown) from Zeon oppressors.
2. Destroy SS members.
I also agree with Aurem - Aldo really needs to die.
Group RPs would also be much appreciated.
Edit: I think we need to start coming up with plans on how to deal with the Apsalus II. I played it last run and was easily able to fly to Earth Orbit, and drop on bases with few obstacles. It can destroy a base every week if it wanted to. If were the EFGF and EFSF commanders, I would coordinate ambushes on the mobile armor (Earth Orbit and Earth) in order to keep it in constant repair.

1.) buy a big tray and populate it with an adequate support force (an m.s. team as well as support)
2.)use said tray to wreak havoc on enemy plans. in other words be a thorn in their side to disrupt their strategy.
3.) Kill Kale, well his character
4.) Eliminate a squad of panzergrenaders
