Before anybody panics by looking at the new EFSF player fleet "Auriga Interdiction Battalion" www.planetzebes.net/oyw/places/londozai.html, please be aware that Latooni only had 2,012 RP yesterday. In order to purchase 5 Salamis (he had the Arcadia and Advent before), 2 Columbuses, and 2 Publics he would need 4,860 RP. What most likely happen is that he brought dummy balloons as a service. But there are a few real ships in there. Dummy Balloons is 100 + 1/10 of the original ship. So it would be 172 RP for a Salamis, 145 RP for a Columbus, and 118 RP for a Public Balloon. The 925 RP he has now is most likely from Altoh, Nirvash, and Zero-0. If my guesses are correct, he spent about 1,005 RP on balloons: 5 Salamis Balloons: 172*5 = 860 1 Columbus Balloon: 145 He then brought 1 real Columbus and 2 Publics for 450+360 = 810 RP. My hypothesis will be proven correct when he can only buy Saberfish fighters for only one of the Salamis. Well, he CAN buy fake Saberfishes. But the bottom line is that those ships cannot all be real. I propose to remedy this by using two Artillery Support Services, then to make Dummy Balloons of our own using my free service (Logistical Spec).

Speed Racer, Titmouse, and Vlad the Great are all Salamis-class, and Kicked Puppy, Grand Hombre, and Thirsty Faggot are all Columbus-class. Issa Kobayashi's and Otakai Lone Wolf's locations need to be updated. Even more proof. That's 4 Salamis-class, 4 Columbus, and 2 Publics. He can buy 4 Salamis balloons, 3 Columbus Ballons, 1 real Columbus, and 2 real Publics. Of Latooni's old list of 5 Salamis and 3 Columbus, the only ones not to change names are "Soft Boiled" and "Hard Boiled". I don't know what this means but this is a clue. Anyway, missile spam time on Monday.

On a related note, there's the slight possibility that he can split his fleet into groups of three. It'll be annoying but I'll go after the Peg II fleet first.

They could also try the split the fleet to get into our territory past the blockades. Our mines could be a target basically have us chase them around,

As much as we can speculate, in the end all we can do is attack them on Monday. I have 436 RP right now which is enough to get me four artillery services this week (six counting my logistics spec, but I'm going to need to find out if that would help me more on the Dummy Balloon Service). The artillery support is our real way of determining which ships are real or fake. As for our primary attack target, I'm going for the Pegasus II.
We have two days of continuous fighting coming up, people. I want to keep Isaiah and Ravage out of the first fight since they are repairing and I need to keep them fresh for day 2. Radune's in Side 2 though I don't know how he plans to take over Asteroid Mines without infantry support. Jim's in position to take him out but I'm not sure anymore if it's worth running after Radune.

May as well have Jim go after him to keep Radune from using the mines to get easy VP from going after the Zakus.
And some serious resistance may convince him to leave the area instead of sticking around.

I hate to have a continuous repeat of Radune slipping into Side 6 while repairing. If "Fifth Luna" from CCA means anything, those marines in the Asteroid Mines can prevent Radune from doing anything en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Universal_Century#Fifth_Luna. Then without the Zaku II Fs, he'll have nothing to fight. There's no way he can beat the Asteroid Mines without some sort of heavy beam weapon. The only infantry support he can possibly get is from rogues.

I'd still rather we not have him weakening the mines just in case the other EFSF do break through at any point.
Better safe than sorry, I suppose.

Honestly, naming a possible fleet of ships as a "battalion"?
That's just heinous and terrible. Battle Group sounds far superior.

I guess in that case, Jim's going to Side 2. I'll start some maps tonight. I'll be gone all Sunday but I don't think our strategy changed that much.

I'm going to do that when this run is over, so it'll be like a storyboard retelling of the space war.

We need to face the possibility that the Guncannon MPT and GM Sniper II might try all-range attacking the fleet. They're both at 2DE, though not in the Auriga Fleet proper.

Don't know why you're worried about the Guncannon doing an All-Range. Its cannons aren't big enough for All-Range attacks.
