"Damn it, I am telling you that if you want us to keep pulling these kind of operations that you need to keep us supplied," yelled Nigel into a headset aboard the Chicken Little. The crew of the ship sat quietly all tending to their jobs, acting as if they weren't in the same room as Nigel.
"I put all of that in the after action report I sent to you yesterday," continued Nigel as he rose up in frustration to look out the front window of the Medea.
"Yes sir, I know that the twenty first needs the support as well, but I had this request in well before our previous operation," said Nigel as a look of disgust came over his face. Kyle Webb saw the commotion and made his way slowly up into the cockpit of the Medea as well, making it even more cramped.
"Fine, I will get back to you on it then," said Nigel as he continued to argue with the voice on the other side of the line. Nigel noticed Kyle had made his way into the cockpit and rolled his eyes in Kyle's general direction as he ended his conversation with the voice on the end of the line.
"What do they want this time?" asked Kyle as he frowned at the general expression on Nigel's face.
"They wanted to know why we didn't take out that experimental Zeon unit we engaged yesterday," said Nigel with a frown on his face, "and they decided to enroll us in another operation with out the support we requested for our previous operation."
"Sounds like the operations they normally give us," said Kyle as he placed his arm against the side of the Medea leaning on it with a frustrated look on his face.
A piece of paper began to print slowly on the printer in the cockpit of the Medea. Nigel tore off the piece of paper once it had finished and read it quickly before handing it over to Kyle.
"You know, it could be worse," said Nigel with a slight smile coming across his face.
"How the hell could it be worse?" said Kyle as he continued to read the orders.
"We could be back at New Amsterdam in the cold, with your best friend Ulga queen of the tundra," said Nigel with a smirk on his face.
"I hate you sometimes," said Kyle as he shook his head heading out of the cockpit.
The pilot of the Medea turned to look at Nigel with a curious expression on his face asking, "Ulga?"
"You didn't hear about this story?" said Nigel with a huge laugh.
"Shut up," said Kyle as he tried to leave the situation.
"Kyle got a wasted the night after we arrived in New Amsterdam and met one of the local girls, and well she was a bit on the large side," said Nigel as he continued to laugh as he told the story.
"Just drop it," said Kyle as an embarrassed look came over his face.
"He told her that he loved her, right after they got done making out in the bathroom at the local bar," continued Nigel as he let out a big laugh, "It gets better though because he told her that he loved little eskimos because they are fucking adorable and that he thought she would make great little eskimo babies."
The entire crew in the cockpit began to laugh hysterically as Kyle covered his face in total embarrassment.
"It only gets better though, because then he went home with her and doesn't remember a thing," said Nigel with excitement at the continuation of the story.
"I was wasted, I didn't remember any of this," said Kyle as he tried to justify some of the story.
"Then, when he wakes up in the morning he walks out of the room to find her in the living room with her mother and father, all of them fairly hefty," continued Nigel almost about to burst at the seams in laughter, "then she announces to her whole family that this Commander Kyle and he is her new fiancé, meanwhile he can't remember her name so he just sprints out of the house."
The entire group burst into another eruption of laughter that lasted for several minutes.
"So we don't know Kyle's fiancé's name so we have dubbed her Ulga." said Nigel as he finished the story.
Kyle couldn't stand the embarrassment any longer and simply just left the cockpit with an ashamed look on his face.
