I've been coming here for awhile now. Every month since the accident. It's been harder since the divorce, with Jane no longer coming to the sessions and offering him support. Now this was the first session I've gone to since she died. Her death, I thought, would kill me, make me stop this war.
That's all changed now.
Now there is one thing left.

"Mr. Murphy?" a nurse pops her head into the waiting room. Jack looks up to see her. "Doctor Matthews is ready to see you now."
Jack looks at her and starts to wheel himself over to the next room. They were going to discuss more details about using his stem cells to regenerate some of his spine nerve endings. It was strange stuff, but if he can start to walk again, that will be the very first step in his revenge. Before the end of this war, that suit will be destroyed. And it's pilot will suffer the same fate...
