Okay guys, fleet buildin' time is coming up. There will be at least one Columbus, with at least 14 Saberfish in it.
That said, what do you guys think? A magellan? A few salamis? Another Salamis revised? A thousand RP or so will be set aside for units and services and balloons, but if you have a really sweet idea for a strike fleet, I'd love to hear it. The maximum amount we have to play with is 3834 RP. I want it ready to go within 2-4 updates. The bulk of the fleet will probably be bought at Texas.

I'd say multiple Salamis are better than a Magellen since it's all about providing a ring of defense for the Gwazine.

No Magellans, they're damn good ships, sure, but that's a bit of a commitment to shell out the RP for one. I'd say... two? Columbuses is what we should have in a few days, and DEFINITELY a few Salamis. How many can we get if we buy standard ones, and how many can we get if we get Reviseds. (Reviseds is a funny word)

1-2 revised (mild impact on the budget) or 2-4 standards (4 really strains the budget)
If we get to keep Fierte's ship, I'll be probably modifying that into a revised.

No Magellans. They are outstanding vessels but they are just too expensive. A salamis revised does everything we want. Stick with a combo of various Salamis variants(Kai,revised, and standard).
Lat your in charge of the fleet building operation are you fine with waiting till next week when everyone is paid and have a little more rp to play with? We could top that colombus out so that Nader has more of his saberfish hoard to work with and we may be able to buy more Gms.

How many suits can the Gwazine deploy at a time? If we get some Salamis Kais then we can have more GMs getting out at once when a mobile armor attacks. Anyway, I recommend that we get one of each. A revised, Kai and normal. I know this pretty much puts it in the same cost as 4 normal salamis though. Honestly Lat?
I think we should go with the four Salamis even though it'll strain the budget, since the weekend is coming up soon and we can send you our money to pad up the budget a little bit for services.
EDIT - I think it's important that we also move fast; Chan's resources are piling up after all.

I don't think you need more than one Salamis Kai at most since the Gwazines hanger is so massive.

I'm definitely planning on buying the units after the paycheck, but the ships can move out beforehand. I think I'll buy one kai today, and make it Buster Ni Go. I'll buy the unmodified salamis and Columbus and balloons the turn we move out. I will also be buying balloons of all the space PC test units, so if anything weird happens on the roster (duplicates, etc), that's why. Feyd: I agree, but the Gwazine will be conducting an independant strike on a mine after arrival.

We have a 7 day window to take those mines or atleast take large number of them out. I think we have plenty of time to pull this off.
Lat be sure to make a serperate post telling people when we are moving. That way no one gets confused and shit and is left behind at Texas Colony.

I bet Chan just transmitted his porn stash he hid on a USB drive in his ass.
Also, Chan's death was hilariously timed.
Also, I'm going to shoot the shit out of stuff once we move out.
Also, also.
