We re-group, get our fleets operational again, and go kill them. I would assume that as Zeons, we know the weaknesses of the Gwazine, and Chan can still attempt to escape, though one would think the fact that he's on his own ship would act as a bonus to escape. Frankly, I'm still pissed that a bullshit action like that was allowed on the EFSF's part, and I doubt I'm going to let it go. We still hold a slight advantage in that we can bring in more cash than they do and get back up and running quicker, and have less distance to traverse.
We could also have someone go after and destroy Texas colony. A few artillery supports should be able to destroy it, and if not, then we've at least forced them to waste more RP on it. I'm tempted to have at least one of you hang back in case they try anything cute with the mines, but since Arc seems to be running the show well enough, I'll leave that up to him and the rest of you, since you seem to be doing okay without my advice.
Also, if we capture one of them, which I doubt, we keep them alive until their usefulness expires, though I will admit that I'd be more likely to kick the captured pilot out of the airlock the instant I got the chance. I'm in a bad mood about this whole thing, and I damn well aim to show that when things aren't going my way, I make those responsible suffer.

If we capture someone, can't we lock them in the same room as Wu Jinyuan for a few days? I know it might be inhumane, but it will damn well be funny.

I could use some laughs. I am reluctant, at best, to negotiate Chan's release. It may sound cold, but given that the EFSF gains more by keeping him alive, I doubt they'll kill him on purpose unless one of them acts stupid. But he can keep trying to escape, which will end in him either being re-captured, dying, or escaping successfully. And with two outcomes being good for us in the long run, I can live with him being in the clink. And as for the mines, well, we just need to keep them from getting too close. And given that we DO have some chokepoints with the patrol fleets, we should be fine if we can keep them focused more on keeping the Monarch stocked, which will suck up a lot of their RP. It's a strong ship, sure, but keeping it loaded is pricey for us, much less the EFSF. |

I said this to Chan, but I figure I might share it with the rest of you, as well. If they haven't changed their plans(They probably have, but you never know) they plan to make two fleets. One that bothers the Zeon PC fleet, and one that is supposed to go past it and attack the mines.
Like I said, they probably have had a change of plans, but you never know, right?

We got orders to attack Ohm after the first wave but since we're still waiting on the outcome of the battle, I'm holding it back.

Hey... not really my place, but this is dragging on long enough. If they kill Chan, we don't have access to his accounts for at least two weeks.
Someone, any officer, is going to post a negotiation for 1000 RP for his release. He makes that in a week... it's well worth it. Escapes are no longer an option.
