Alright here be the orders:
Orders for everyone: Please send your RP to Nigel Ferdinand, Jarvis Ackart keep your RP and Suzaku Selffaw and Aaron McCaskey send your RP to Jarvis Ackart as well.
Aurem Senaiha: Join 87th Integrated Fleet Cray Vermillion: No Orders Edmund Blackadder: No Orders Jack Murphy: No Orders Jay Tessa: Join 87th Integrated Fleet Jim Irwin: Join 87th Integrated Fleet Seth Yamanu: Have the Splizun move to New Amsterdam to repair, your character should join 87th Integrated Suzaku Selffaw: Join 87th Integrated Zanzen Hosei: No orders Aaron McCaskey: Join 87th Integrated Jarvis Ackart: Move 87th Integrated Fleet to East Arctic Arianna Elvy Saoirse: DO NOT MOVE, DO NOT SEND RP TO ANYONE. Bigby Wolfe: No orders Charles Gano: Move to North America. Hirsch Munchek: Purchase lvl 0 Medea, paradrop attack the Jukon in East Asia. Scott Archer: Purchase Medea, paradrop the ship Dragon. This is important because they are splitting into two fleets and you wish to attack just the ship the Dragon. Purchase two GM Sniper supports and target the Gaw Dragon with the sniper supports. Don't forget to purchase a dish for targeting and a few other tin cods to attempt to provide more cover. I would suggest the use of the anti-beam missiles to put around the supply fleet to protect them from the Gaw fire for a moment until they are fast enough to escape. Thorvald Siggurdson: Join 87th Integrated
The strategy has changed, the 87th and 42nd Brigade will all form up together and move into North America all at once.
PLEASE NOTE THIS HAS CHANGED SINCE THE FIRST TIME ORDERS WERE POSTED!

I think Scott Archer should get flight supports instead of Sniper supports since he has beam weapons himself and we should be more worried about controlling Dopps as he only needs to slow the Gaw down so the Medeas can outrun it. Not to mention this saves him RP to use in future attacks. I also don't no how well anti-beam missles will work in the atmosphere.
Strikey (Scott Archer) also said orders should be emailed to him today since he is having computer problems.
I'll be saving 108 RP for myself for a little plan I may try out depending on how things play out. Also remember, that I have 3 lvl2 Tin Cods in my MS team so when you reform the 42nd, be sure to leave 4 aircraft support slots open.
I also think the 87th should move to Europe in preparation to finish off Archangelisk rather than trying to hit Vladivostok. Archangelisk is the softer target and has far fewer aquatic MS to contest our ships not to mention I think it has more importance. Do you really want to fight Vlad? Archangelisk should be destroyed if possible.
I'll be busy for most of the afternoon with class so won't be able to comment much.

I think fighting vlad won't be that big of a deal, as we will have plenty of other people to help in the attack. They pretty much expect us to move into Europe and I think we should be able to get close to getting both of these fortifications if we do it right. If we don't finish off Archangelisk then we force them to repair it which costs them more side RP which I don't view as a bad thing. its not that expensive for the GM sniper supports for Strikey since he is in friendly territory and they are half price, also I don't think that it would really turn the tide that well for him by bringing the flight supports and in the end we want them to have damaged ships so that we can force them to need repairs.

<Feyd> I still think strikey should get flight supports though... <Feyd> the goal is to protect the supply fleet, not kill the Gaw <Kyle_Physalis> And harassing/distracting is a lot easier <Feyd> He should be able to slow down the Gaw himself and the extra fighters will control the Dopps <Feyd> If he can shoot out the Gaws engine, the MEdeas can flee <Feyd> Not to mention the fighters can attack any PC's on dodais <Feyd> On the Vladivostok issue, I just don' <Feyd> don't think we get anything for taking it <Feyd> where if we make sure we take out Archangelisk, that's one less pre-Odessa target <Feyd> we also have a great window now since they have no PC's in the area so casualties would be low <Kyle_Physalis> I'm not really sure taking Archangelisk would provide much overall gain either <Feyd> I also wouldn't attack Vlad without a full strength Aleksei <Kyle_Physalis> But I do support taking as many of their bases as we can <Feyd> I agree Kyle, but if we don't use the 87th to take a base it should at least move somewhere where it could threaten the Zeek fleet, possibly North America <Kyle_Physalis> I offered up that idea on the officer boards, actually <Kyle_Physalis> Break into North America and confront their fleet. If their fleet takes another route out of South America, hit Mexico City <Feyd> it would box them in <Feyd> the Dobday has to move out that way <Feyd> I wouldn't hit Mexico city though <Feyd> it's too strong <Kyle_Physalis> Not really <Kyle_Physalis> Only 13 MS <Feyd> Mountain's take away some of our air advantage <Kyle_Physalis> Whoops, 17 <Feyd> and it's only a fortification so taking it wouldn't even make NA contested <Kyle_Physalis> I know <Feyd> I'd rather sit and wait for their fleet, maybe picking off remaining patrols in the meantime <Kyle_Physalis> But we can't take either of the fortresses <Feyd> But we would take casualties and they could catch us with our pants down <Kyle_Physalis> Well, hitting Mexico City was more of a "You're going to run though the oceans with your Gaws instead of facing us? Okay then, base go smashy!" <Feyd> I don't think they'll abandon the Dobday and Samsons they bough so easily <Kyle_Physalis> I don't think they would, but it is possible <Kyle_Physalis> The ideal thing would be a fleet/fleet encounter, which we would win I believe <Feyd> I agree <Kyle_Physalis> Though I'd rather hang on to some of the people Jojo wants to take if that was the case <Kyle_Physalis> Namely Aurem and Thorvald <Feyd> Well, perhaps the 42nd could move to the Atlantic/Pacific instead and then paradrop on them with mostly air units <Kyle_Physalis> What I really like is that if we bust into NA, we can just start making patrol actions with the fleet <Feyd> we could harass their Gaws and try to drive them towards the rest of the fleet in NA <Feyd> Idk <Kyle_Physalis> They come into NA and are automatically attacked. No chance to spend the RP they gain from our supply fleets <Feyd> yeah <Kyle_Physalis> No services, no extra ships <Feyd> oooh <Feyd> you're right <Feyd> i like that <Feyd> So I guess now I'm thinking we should keep most PC MS with the 87th reform the 42nd as a mostly airborne fleet<Feyd> 87th moves to NA <Feyd> 42nd moves to one of the oceans <Kyle_Physalis> So we have... a Himalaya, a Hillock, Jojo's prize naval battleship, and two Big Trays in the 87th <Kyle_Physalis> They have... two Gaws, a Dobday, a Gallop, and two Samsons <Feyd> I like the plan try to convince Jojo <Feyd> I g2g cya later

Summary of the chat log. 87 refills with everything we can fit on it, and busts through North America patrols into enemy territory. The 42 reforms and is an aerial Medea strike force. The 87th then begins making Patrol actions, while the 42 constantly harasses their forces.
Here's why this plan is awesome. Our fleet is better than theirs. Plain and simple. We have a Himalaya, a Hillock, the Everest-class battleship, two Big Trays, and a Medea or two. They have two Gaws, a Dobday, a Gallop, and some lolSamsons. We want a fleet/fleet battle. If we do this, they cannot reinforce their fleet. They can fill MS and aircraft slots, sure, but they can't use the massive RP they'll gain from the convoys to get ships OR services. They either leave the Dobday and Samsons, which we can then obliterate easily, or they go into NA and fight us where we have the element of surprise from our patrols. Our Big Trays can destroy their Dobdays. We can plug the sniper units into the Big Tray and have Aurem Gawsbane. Our MS are better. Our aerial superiority is unquestioned. And with the 9th gone, we have more freedom to run free and kill stuff.
I say we do it.

Gutsy plan as usual, I like it. The issue I see with Vladivostok is we are sorely out matched in oceanic combat. I foresee losing at the least one ship if not more. On the other hand we just have sheer numbers there is no way they can defend against us. Maybe this would be a good time to try the M-Particle bomb + Flares thing? Archangelisk on the other hand I think the best plan would involve a good mix of troops (air, ground, sea) which the 42nd is sorely lacking. For one thing if you go with snails then you can't get more ground troops to support Thomas, Etc. So I think on this attack your going to have to elaborate more then LOL BLUE DESTINY. Also a battle on an open plain where I can potentially be useful? And I'm not in on it?!?

Another benefit to the North America plan, my good fellow! Tanks are good there! I like this idea as well. Also funny how late my post is, damn internet going out. Anyway an equally gutsy plan Kyle seems similar to what happened IV where we took out their Gaw fleet in North Africa. So the plan is to force an encounter where neither side can buy support or additional units?
