1,200 RP sounds pretty fair for him IMO. However I can't stress enough that we need to demand Chan in advance of payment, otherwise they could dick us over pretty nicely. If they bitch about it, point out that they have the Gwazine if they get fucked, whereas we have nothing.

I'd still like to haggle them down to less than four digits, but if that's not possible, then 1,200 will have to be the last resort.
But I agree with Drew. First we get Chan back and an offer that they won't try anything until he's safely with us, and then the payment.

At this point I think you should whittle down the price as much as you can and free Chan. You guys are only hurting yourselves by letting him sit at Luna II. And yes the EFSF may be being kinda dicks with the price but it's not something you can really help.

Nope.
Those vultures didn't get a damn penny from us, and now they can't spy on us among other things, so all we need to do is wait until Chan comes back to life. Though if any of us who own mines ever get captured, we should adopt a policy of strip mining to keep the Feddies from asking for such an absurd amount of cash for us.
That, or just not negotiate.
