Where to from here? We essentially have to hold our ground for the next 8 updates until Chan comes back with a new ship. Right now, we're not a fleet, which I think works in our favour for the time being 0- the EFSF will have to spit their forces to deal with all of us. On the other hand, there's a possibility that they could just jump us one at a time, which carried a significant risk of death. The obvious answer to this is to spar and keep damaged so they CAN'T, but there's another side to this.
The Mines.
It's not difficult to slip past a blockade - send one guy off to distract the fleet while everyone else goes by. The Solomon defence fleet is no exception to this. It would not be at all difficult to get by them, and if I was an EFSF officer, I'd take the chance to do it. We're in a weakened state - not vulnerable persay, but weakened. Pretty much the only way to guarantee the mines's safety is to prevent them from getting into +3DE at all.
To start, at least, I recommend we overwatch. A Lot. At least if they try and gangbang us, we'll be ready for them.
