Time for an assault, it would seem. Shooting Star and Apsalus II are in position, if G-Force can take the initiative and keep their defenses pinned down (specifically the Tin Cods and GM Snipers), I think we stand a reasonable chance to destroy New Amsterdam today.
The enemy is not to be underestimated, though! Our primary threats today are:
- Hirsch Munchek [Waterproof Gundam: 1x lvl5 GM Diver, 1x lvl4 GM Aqua, 1x lvl2 Dish (D)]
- Thorvald Siggurdson [Blue Destiny: 1x GM] (Overwatch 1)
- Aaron McCaskey [GM Land Combat Type]
- Aurem Senaiha [GM Ground Sniper: 1x lvl6 Land Combat GM (A) (Arieta)] (Repairing 1)
- Jack Murphy [Guntank MPT] (Getting used to new suit)
- Jim Irwin [Tin Cod: 1x Dish (D)] (2049 RP)

77th BrigadeSometime later I will do another post that will lay out the forces that both sides possess, but until then I think this short list describes the situation pretty well.
- We are outnumbered and out-skilled in terms of air superiority (as always!).
- Thus, it's probably a safe bet to assume that they intend to purchase Services that are NOT made up of Flight Support (probably snipers, if I had to guess).
- The EFGF's most dangerous and powerful pilot / MS combos will be at this battle (Hirsch / Waterproof, Aurem / GM Ground Sniper, Jim / Tin Cod, Thorvald / Blue Destiny).
- I feel comfortable with admitting our people on the ground are going to have some trouble.
- It's going to be absolutely essential that they hold their ground until the cavalry (Zanzibar / Apsalus II) can show up to reinforce them, or this could turn into a Pyrrhic victory.
- Jim Irwin has a lot of RP, man.
- Unless I missed something, they only just purchased that Targeting Facility at New Amsterdam very recently.
- I think good starting targets for our ground artillery folks are going to be that Targeting Facility and the Airfield.

Edit - Well, I WAS going to make a post that would flesh out and compare our forces to theirs, but it would appear Draco has done that in the Thursday thread on the main Zeon board. I was so tired I didn't notice it to begin with! Whoo.
- Also, it would seem that the AU has decided to (presumably) assist the EFGF in its defense of New Amsterdam. Anastasia and Jon are both there, which means the suitcase nuke could be a problem for us.
