I don't know how much harder I can stress this but FLORIAN. DOES. NOT. SPEAK.
Well okay he'll talk a little bit here and there to acknowledge things in battle and whatnot, but certainly not as much as he did in last night's battle.

..Not to be terribly picky, but Akane isn't a combat pilot, she's my mechanic NPC.

asdfasdfklsdfj;lasdkl;asd My bad. I read wrong. I knew she did mechanic work but I saw two NPCs and assumed they were your two Dom pilots as well. I am really sorry.

It's ok. I should have made a profile for #2, but I was hit by a craptastic Ice Storm that kept knocking my power out. I just wanted to throw it out there

I apologise for improperly portraying Florian, but it was one line. That is about the minimum I can make him speak while still conveying his thoughts during a mobile suit battle. In the future if I'm asked to write a battle with him, I'll ask you for help in getting his character right.

Florian doesn't convey thoughts, he just follows orders.
He is a puppet.

Florian doesn't convey thoughts, he just follows orders. He is a puppet. In battle, more or less.

I already apologized via mIRC, but I'd like to apologize again for the ming's battle last week.
I realize these are excuses but I figured I'd explain myself anyways: 1) Was very last minute as I was hired as a writer the day previous. 2) I had not read any rps. 3) I'm a good writer when it comes to one on one, or allgundamrpg type events (I can write events here just as long as the outcome is clear and it isnt as big of a clusterfuck). I'm still new to the OYW type battles over here.
Anyways, regardless of the reasons, I promise to make sure to avoid messing up characters. I think I've been doing well after that Guatemala battle as I've been making sure to read RPs.
Oh and Tian I know you mentioned that you were upset about the npc dying, but I came to that conclusion because of the sheer amount of advantages the EF had (Detector unit, flight support, greater in number). Sure he was defeated by an aquatic unit, but it was actually 3 Aquatic units, 1 equal to your npcs Level, the other Lvl4, and the final was Aleksei himself who was around 83+VP if I remember correctly.
Sorry again.

I have no idea why I should even have to put this up... but for the love of Christ, PLEASE mention where or what an attack is about. It's kind of hard to guess what the hell is going on. Not to mention annoying.
If someone attacks a ship, mention the ship and it's condition (Alone, part of a fleet, docked at a base). If a base is assaulted, mention the fucking base! Seriously, it's "The forces at Middle of Fucking Nowhere, a Zeonic Base, were on high alert that day". Not much to ask.

Yeah, the battle last night did not detail what was going on, I remember thinking this, and Ming saying it prompted me to post this.

Chan had to start that event last night at midnight (after spending way way too long on a patrol battle), so I can understand why it was below standards.
I agree though. From what I have read of the battles (extremely little, lets not kid), all of the writers need to be taking more attention to setting.

My one complaint was my spar against the Adzam on Tuesday. Two days prior to that, I had sparred the Adzam, and this last fight had mentioned my pilot "never seeing a mobile armor before".
It's small, I know, but it was a little detail of irritation for me.
