The MAHQ and the RPG stats list it as having the same thrusters as the Dom Funf/Dom Tropen, does that mean it's standard is capable of safely handling harsh climate conditions?
I'm just curious because I think this might affect how it rolls out in the New Amsterdam event.

No, it doesn't.
MAHQ likes to say that the Dom Funf and the Dom Tropen are the exact same thing, and we like to say that they're two different machines entirely.

Plus, having the same thrusters has nothing to do with having the same mounting, heating/cooling systems, filtration systems, etc.

This is what caused the question. I can see why it would affect it in the arctic, but would it be optimal for the desert, then?

If you have Giant Jets below your MS chances are there are lots of little dust and dirt particles that you are throwing up into the air and considering how the intakes on the legs are probably close by to it, then you have a ton of sand and crap in a normal environment kicking up into it. Would only be worse in the desert.
