It seems the Zeon win in all the technological categories on earth in some ways. Tin Cods get slaughtered by high level things on dodais, Medeas can't compete with Zanzibars and Gaws, GM Snipers can't hit anything, GMPGT are effective but we can't afford to field them in high numbers, GM CCTs have seemed somewhat effective, Himalayas are too easily sunk by a variety of things, hillocks are.... fairly useless.
What do we purchase?
Personally, I have been waiting for ages for the Pegasus to appear for us, but it seems its not going to happen for a while.

GMs.
Seriously. They're better than pretty much every zeon unit if all else is equal. Aircraft are cheap for a reason.

The GM sniper can't hit moving targets. You should change up your tactics when you use the sniper service. Maybe have them take out stationary objects on bases like litsening posts and such. Its really hard for them to hit something moving so stick with taking out stationary things.
As for the aircraft be sure to control the air first before you send them in. Maybe you should pound Zeon ground positions with arillery strikes from big trays and missile barrages from Hillcocks to take out AA assets. Maybe by some fighterbombers to help out with the AA assets killing portion. Be sure to buy aircraft in large numbers they are more useful that way. We found that out in space with the saberfish.
Also go with what Lat said. Buy GMs they work fine! They are fine enough in terms of quality to where you can kick Zeon ass while still being able to afford them in large numbers. Don't get suckered in to buying GMPGT's unless you have alot of money on hand.

I don't think the Pegasus will show up anytime soon. Big Trays are the best ground ship we can field right now as long as you don't use the over the OCEAN. They hold 5 MS and a fair number of aircraft.
If anyone remebers last run at the battle of Odessa we had big issues with the PC fleet becuase they had 4 or 5 Big Trays. We have two so we just need to buy 1 more and make a fleet. Then stock it with GMs and Tin Cods.
Even the zeon cant beat zerg tactics when are units can be replaced in large numbers for cheap.
