I haven't got a chance to talk to you lately so I was wandering what the current situation is for Earth's orbit? Are you getting around to it? I haven't talked to Latooni yet about my offer for Odessa for what we have planned(I tell you about it Lat when all this go damn snowing stops >_<) I'm willing to give you a alternative plan to help you ground pounders out at Odessa if I can't get everyone all aboard for the first offer.
Jojo please don't mention the plan in this thread incase access to the board is compromised.

Is their a particular time in IRC I can get in contact with you? So we can discuss this? It will have to be after Wednesday since I will have some bad weather in my area so it is possible I will not have electricity for a few days.

Alright so here are my thoughts on keeping things secret and not posting them on the board:
- I think that if someone captures an officer it should be worth wild to be able for them to read the officer's boards.
- If the idea is worth wild enough to hide, its even more worth wild if we share it among all of us here as it will likely be able to grow into a better plan.
So.. basically just post it here, and I can respond. But to answer your question, I will not be able to be on IRC too much this week, been working late out here since I am on a business trip currently but should be able to get on later in the evening if you woudl like to plan a specific time.

Very well then.
I'm still hesitant about going forward and using Texas Colony to be dropped on Odessa. If the game goes past Odessa Day and yes I know that is a big IF we would have to contend with zeeks with cheap nukes which would be a royal pain in the ass. So I have alternative which will still benefit ground forces on O Day.
I'm still working on the logistical/cost kinks but I feel it is reasonable and it will help EFGF forces out. The jist of it is that once Earth's orbit is captured or is at least in neutral territory the EFSF could move in a fleet to control the orbit over Odessa and to provide orbital fire support to ground forces. The only Issue figure with this is that you ground pounders would need to direct the the incoming barrage from us so we can make precision strikes against the Zeeks.
Once the EFSF has taken care of the Zeek mines in space we may be able to move one of our two fleets or maybe even build up another fleet and send it out to go and patrol/blockade(depends on what we feel will work better) 1e to keep any resupply fleets from getting to Odessa to resupply it.

Just to give you a update. We are going to try and move in to position when we can some time within the week. I also found out because of the Antartic Treaty we can't give orbital firemissions for you guys on the ground :'(( damn that treaty) we however will capture orbit that is for sure. We plan to do the following.
1.Stop the Space resupply fleet from reaching Odessa- This seems like a stretch with Ridden on board. With a damaged Zanzibar and the rest being supply craft I think we could stop him with the right equipment. We do have a shopping list laid out and we are working out something for this.
2.Stop Zeeks from escaping Odessa- I don't see any HLV like craft at Odessa. I wouldn't be surprised if things go badly that they had rp set aside to get highly prized personal out of Odessa out. When they hit Earth's Orbit we will kill or capture it depends on the situation.

I know that Ketara has a lot of stuff planned out for you guys during Odessa, the biggest and most important thing will be you all being there.

I have also heard rumors that Odessa orbit will be hot, and I think it is worth placing all the chips we've got there. However, we'll save a bunch of it to be transferred to me when I spawn at Green Noah, so I can buy ships right away and hit Zeon while they're still hurting. I do not think I will be able to be there in time for Odessa, but if so, reinforcements are very cool.
