So the SS Zeek fleet hit SE Asia HQ. Event has yet to be finished but losing SE Asia HQ would not be a huge deal. This does open up some more options for us: Option 1: Stick with the splitting the fleet idea. Naval fleet moves to hit Zeek SS fleet. Big Tray fleet moves to hit Vladivostock/Archangel. This one is super doubtful atm. Option 2: Our fleet stays together and hits Hughendon (Australia). I cannot gurantee that we could take it but I think we have a pretty good chance. We may even set up a siege for this one Option 3: Fleet stays together and moves to the East Arctic to set it up for hitting Archangel. This option risks us possibly running into the Zeon G-force fleet in the East Arctic, if so we would engage them. Option 4 - 9875: Other? What do you guys think?

I would still like to pursue Option 1 as I originally stated in the last strategy thread. I'm actually quite relieved that Xavier is attacking Southeast Asia HQ because that will make my potential attack on Friday/Monday all the more advantageous for the EFGF.
My concerns are that once the Jukons finish their attack, they will escape to North Africa before I can reach them with the fleet. I'm also weary about the number of PC and NPC mobile suits. Granted some of the enemy mobile suits will be damaged, I think, as Atra has pointed out, it could be disastrous for us. It would be great if three PCs in the West Arctic could hop on a Medea in the West Arctic and paradrop on the Dobday (with tons of air support) in order to distract the PCs from engaging the sub killers.
My problem with the other options is that once we attack a base, we will expose our damaged super fleet to two enemy fleets (since they are split up), which could easily destroy us.

This sounds badass and once I'm repaired, I'd be all for it.

Well, given our current RP situation we cannot really afford more than one Hillock during tommorow's update so I think the fleet splitting option is out and with Jojo having moved to the wrong ocean...
So now I think our best bet is Option 3, the combined fleet heads to East Arctic. If the Zeek fleet moves there the same day we engage them if not we can shuffle off to Archangel.
As for purchases tommorow I'll probably buy one Hillock (maybe, maybe not) and then focus on restocking planes and MS.

I still say Hughendon. It's still stocked low enough where we can take it, and while I'm fine with hitting and taking out bases for its own sake, removing Hughendon gives us EF control of another area, and that's more than Vladivostok gives us.

I agree with Kyle, hit Hughendon. Taking out Vladivostok gains us nothing.

I'm sorry if I was unclear, Vladivostock is pretty much off the table at this point. I changed option 3 so it's now move to the East Arctic and engage the G-fore fleet if it is there, otherwise we move on to Archangel.

Agreed. With things the way they are Hughendon. Looks like a safe and highly beneficial move. If we seige it then it might pull the SS fleet to us and while they're damaged we might end up taking them out. And if we coordinate the movements just right we might be able to roll right to Arch.

My apologies, I actually mis-spoke. I knew you meant Archangelisk. But I still don't think that destroying Archangelisk or Vladivostok for that matter really gains us anything. Either way it's still a fortification.

Insider info- The reason for Archangelisk is that when Operation Odessa rolls around it comes through Europe. This gives it one less target to clear.

That makes more sense then. I'd been wondering why we were pushing it so hard.

I also think we take less damage since it's scouted and a weaker target.

I like this idea...A LOT.
I've been depressed all day thinking about the fact that we just let them get away. Are we bringing Snails? =)

I'm gonna buy a Medea for you to hop on, Stay on my Medea and buy 3 snails for it and buy two flight supports of snails.
So we'll have 7 Snails, a Dish, me with some ASROCs and you and you're MS team.
The Zeek fleet has no PC's and only the Grabro and Hans as defense.
Btw Aleksei, what do you think we should do with the main fleet now?
