Alright, since not much has been posted lately about future plans, except the idea to assault Belfast. I thought I'd start a thread to help some of you guys get up and going.

Stationary Defenses:
With so many AA guns and SAMs, we might not want to try an orbital drop like with what we did at New Amsterdam. However, if we must, we are going to need plenty of aircraft to keep most of the guns busy. It'll be costly to do it that way. I suggest though, that any air incursions wait until stationary weaponry have been thinned out to make way for an air strike.
Now, the Cannons, MPCs, and Howitzers will be dealt with like always. Using artillery units to take them out to make our siege easier for ground troops. Not much to say about those.
Vehicles:
All together including base AND! ship vehicles we are looking at a new number of:
38x Jet Core Booster
20x lvl2 Tin Cod
18x lvl2 Fly Manta
9x Depp Rog
4x lvl2 Don Escargot
5x 4x Dish (D) (one is lv2)
Now that is a lot of aircraft power. I suggest a heavy investment in Dopps this go around as always, they've never let us down. Any Ps that can use AA weaponry, should. Otherwise, the other ground vehicles/marines can be dealt with normally.
Mobile Suits:
They have 4 units that can assist in the stationary defenses. 3 Guntank MPTs and a GM Sniper. If we get position data from maybe a Luggun to assist our artillery units to fire back on, they should be taken care of. The rest of the 9 Mobile Suits will be rough, but luring them closer to our fleet before engaging will ensure their destruction while minimizing our casualties.
Ships:
lvl6/5 Big Tray (Ryer)
lvl3 Himalaya
lvl2 Hillock
Hillock
lvl3 Medea
Medea B Type (R)
4 of those ships will be a huge nuissance to us during the siege. We will need to devise a plan to get rid of them effectively without having to cripple/overload our artillery. Perhaps we could have a few PCs seek those targets out themselves during combat.
OVERALL, this will be a rough battle. We will have to fine tune ourselves to make this a very successful strike. We can do this, so put your thinking caps on now that I have helped lay out what we are to expect.
