Since some of our members need more advance notice, I'll post what orders I know will need doing.
Noelle Everett Board G-Force.

Day 3 got delayed due to trouble getting big events written.
Take a break and come back Thursday. Have a good day off.
If you'd like, go ahead and post some entries into the various contests going on this week. RPing is fairly straightforward, if you add to your profile it should be something creative and not just some more history or a new NPC profile, and feel free to come up with some strategies for the upcoming battle. Every idea we get helps.
Also, some of our officers are trying to convince me to send our fleet after the 87th Fleet. What do you guys think of that?

Taking out the 87th would be huge for Odessa. They do have the advantage on PC pilots, I believe. We'd need a whole new ship loaded up with Dopps to deal with all those Tin Cods, though.

I believe this was said before but we all can't be snow flakes here in terms of creativity.

To be honest, we could take out the 87th without so much break-neck planning since none of us will be repairing/fatigued like last time in South America. If we do go after them, it won't be a bad idea.

I thought about this today. Since David Anderson just got a lv2 pilot for his new NPC Gouf Flight Type, those two could go tear through the aircraft that the 87th has. Throw a couple of Dopp escorts in for them and I think we have a solution. Maybe even get David a dodai I/II and another MS for it to complete his airborne strike team.

If y'all are serious about the 87th, now would be a good time since they don't have the BD anymore.

Then let's move quickly. I think if we do, Spade and I can hang back, and tag the 87th with (A) attacks, while the fleet moves in. Part of the plan should be our superior long range firepower taking out at least one of their ships.
Actually, I just noticed how they split their fleet. Spade and I could all range attack the Lleu Law Gyffes, taking out that monster of air support at range (especially since I have both the massive 680mm cannon and long range missiles). They have no (A) units in any of their forces to retaliate against that.
It's an advantage we have yet to exploit.
Let's move today to take them out.

We need one massive assault to take down the Lleu Llaw Gyffes, the 87th, and maybe that new tiny fleet of Medeas.
My proposal:
G-Force (sans Myself, the Decimator, and Big Rig): Move into North Africa and then attacks 87th Fleet. With the PCs and ships remaining, plus two support services of Air Support (Dopps, of course), you catch the 87th with their pants down, opening fire and immediately going for the support ships. If possible, have the marines move to capture the Big Sioux.
Irusk Strike Force (Myself, the Decimator, and Big Rig): Move into North Africa. All-Range attack the Lleu Llaw Gyffes, purchasing one Artillery support service, plus 1 flight support (Dopps). Being at that range, we should be able to take out the LLG before they can retaliate. They have absolutely no all range capabilities, and so sinking the ship wouldn't be a problem. Even with Aleksei being on there, I'd be attacking from Land, so he's at a disadvantage.
Shooting Star: Paradrop the 42nd/77th (whichever name is correct). It's just a fleet of Medeas, but might as well stop that before it ever gets a chance to become a problem. Plus it's always fun to watch them spend RP and lose it before they get a chance to do something with it.

I did make a note in my action e-mail that if the G-Force moves to North Africa, I won't be splitting from it until tomorrow, when I All-Range attack the LLG. This is gonna be one massive, decisive blow, and coming right before Odessa, they won't be prepared to field such a massive fleet against us, since the RP has already been invested.
Good Luck and God Speed, everyone.

Since it's become such a hot item of discussion, G-Force will be moving into North Africa to put a dent in the 87th.

It's highly likely that the 87th is just going to run today, and we won't be able to catch them.
My suggestion, if you want to fight the 87th, you have to draw them to you - I vote do this by starting a siege on Malta.

Today: Start Siege on Malta Tomorrow: Withdraw and make patrol action to intercept possible cross over of 87th Monday: While G-force takes on 87th, or patrols, Lorelay, Shooting Star, and Aspalus II descend on Malta... maybe a third ship? >.> think that'd work?

Today has been a very confusing day for plans.
Final Action: G-Force is splitting into two fleets today: G-Force and Fighting Mongooses.
G-Force will be the Samsons and the Decimator, which will repair.
Fighting Mongooses is everything else.
