I am getting tired of people who make passive aggressive comments insinuating that I am unfair and shit. It is insulting and I do not deserve it.
People who do that are going to start getting banned.

Ketara is unfair because he killed me when I was vastly outnumbered and alone.
I mean what the christ.
(But no, I honestly think Ket plays very fair, and is even usually somewhat generous on the side of the losing team to keep them in the game; it's only when he's objectively fair that I usually see complaints.)

Okay, I have discussed with my staff, and most of them think I'm being a little too hard on Draco and Dan, and Zeon as a whole.
However, most of them think I need to do something.
This is what we are going to do.
Because more than 90% of the unreasonable, passive aggressive complaining that I get comes from either Draco, Dan, or Frenzy, all three of them are now on probation.
Every time Dan, Draco or Frenzy complain in an unreasonable or improper way about an event outcome, their characters are going to be demoted 1 rank.
Note that there are proper ways to complain about things. The questions board is one, and discussing it with me is another. But if you do that, you need to do it in a respectful way, and realize that I am probably not going to change something just because of your personal opinion.
What is NOT proper is venting to the rest of the people in your side, in such a way that it makes more people complain about unfairness that simply doesn't exist.
Rather than be removed, Dan and Draco are both going to be demoted 1 rank. This is going to take them off the officer boards.
Feel free to discuss this issue in this thread.

If you wanted me to stop complaining, then why not ask me? I'm not unreasonable, and if accusing you was making you upset, then why not tell me? Now, I may have missed subtle hints because I suck at picking up on subtle hints, but this strikes me as a tad extreme. Now, it's your game, so I can't change your opinion or what happened or this.
While it is nicer than just up and removing me, shouldn't I have at least have had a chance to defend myself or explain myself? Because this really isn't making me feel all that welcome if I can't say what's on my mind.
Is this probation going to end at some point, or do I need to worry about saying the wrong thing and winding up getting demoted until this game closes? And this is not complaining, or so I hope. I'd like to know if this has an end point beside the game end.

Yeah an end point is fair.
If you guys manage to not have ISSUES through the rest of Odessa, your probations will be removed.
Frenzy, you know you have been acting this way, and have had ample notice from me and others, both staff and non-staff, that it is not appreciated. Don't act dumb.
You have been pretty good since we thrashed you on trivia day though, I will admit that.

For what it's worth, I apologize for taking my anger out on those who I've ranted at. I have a nasty temper, and while this doesn't excuse any of what I've said...I dunno.
I do appreciate not removing me, though.

I don't know that venting about issues in #Zeon is such a terrible thing. When it does not strictly involve complaints about you, Ketara, it seems like a solid way to work off some of the anger and talk these things out so that they don't become a big dramafest in #rpg. These discussions also seem to advance our tactical awareness and reinforce our off-board unofficial planning. |

Things that further tactical discussions are things that do not bother me.
These are the sorts of things that bother me.
"Event A's outcome was unfair because Ketara doesn't like such and such person"
"Event A's outcome is not consistent with Event B's outcome"
"Shop item X is completely useless in all situations because of Event A's outcome"
Or some serious examples. These have all actually happened:
"I should not have died in my event, because so and so did not die in his event, when so and so was outnumbered 2 to 1 and I was only outnumbered 10 to 1."
"The ship shouldn't have been captured even though we had no Marines on board."
"We should have been able to capture their ship even though their Marines outnumbered/outskilled ours."
"I should have been able to destroy a ship that is faster than my ship without needing any sort of interdiction aircraft."
"Jukons are completely worthless because an undefended and damaged Jukon was destroyed by the Waterproof Gundam."
"Panzergrenadiers are completely worthless because they lose when outnumbered 20 to 1."
"People should not be allowed to die twice in a short amount of time completely regardless of the situation."
"Such and such player cheats."
Nobody but Draco, Dan and Frenzy says things like this, and they literally say things like this after every single event that they don't win, and often completely ignore earlier events in order to make these claims.
They do not help you in any way. If anything, they propagate false information and end up damaging things.
