I've started this thread to start preliminary discussion. Obviously we can't go into too many details until the results from Friday are posted. But here's where we stand right now:
The following Feddie Ground Forces PCs will be fully repaired, and possibly in Europe with the 87th Fleet on Monday, and could cause huge problems for us on the first day of planning.
Jay Tessa, GMPGT Kyle Slater, GMPGT Jack Murphy, Guntank MPT Jarvis Ackart, GM Command
Those four are fully repaired, and probably will be in Europe on Monday. Of course, that doesn't stop the 87th from attacking our Fleets while we are repairing, when we're at a severe disadvantage.
So, suggestions: 1.) Go on Overwatch, Combine the Fleets, move to Constantinople, and purchase 2x Services (1 Artillery, and 1 MS Support).
2.) Keep the fleets split up, and move one Fleet to Constantinople, and the other to Odessa. Still go on Overwatch for the day.
What ideas do you guys have?
Obviously, as we get the status updates, we'll have a better idea of what to expect. Also, remember that we are gonna get paid, so we can shore up our MS teams, and protect ourselves there.

My vote goes to fleet going to overwatch, moving remaining ships to Europe, and Tuesday attack 87th, or finish them up if they attacked Monday.

From what I hear though, we aren't too badly damage, maybe if we're lucky we can retreat the fleet away from the 87th so we can get everyone at 100% before striking them. It shouldn't take long at all considering what Ket posted in the forums about our attack.

Just something I'd like to add:
It sounds like we failed to capture that carrier at Malta because we had a confusing situation. To avoid that kind of confusion in the future, talk to an officer before you buy services for a battle that there's already services planned for. If you can't find an officer to talk to, don't buy services.

No, I told them to (A) and purchase services cuz it looked like you fucked up and lost us the fleet... so I planned accordingly. I apologize for not being around when Ket decided to let y'all back in. But I was not about to plan for shit that was not available.

To be fair, they weren't added back in until past deadline, and our confusing actions were sent in with twenty minutes before deadline.

Alright. There's enough of us that are repaired or have minimal repairs that we can hit the 87th on Monday. My Proposal:
The Fleets recombine and attack the 87th. We purchase 1x Flight Service (Dopps) and 1x Artillery Support (make sure we say Xamel service). The Fleets assault the 87th, and we make sure we break it.
I'll be willing to purchase the two services. Everyone else, we need: 12x MS for the Fighting Mongooses (4x on the Liger, and 12x on the Eclair). At this point, I'd say a bunch of Zaku II Ground types would be fine, just to field the numbers. If you can pick up any of those, and if possible level 2 or 3 pilots for them, that would be fantastic.
Just sound off with what you can donate to this Operation: Deep-Six the 87th

Don't forget, Ender, that PCs take up space in the fleet too. If our PCs are going to rejoin G-Force, then there's considerably less space for NPCs.
I'll cover as many NPC purchases for the fleets as I can. I'll work out how much space there currently is too so we can know how much to really buy.

I noticed I've got enough RP to afford the Zanzibar II refit, so I might pick that up if I can get it to Constantinople soon.
Anyway, here's how much space we have in G-Force after all the PCs that SHOULD be aboard our ships.
MS: 5 Vehicles: 2 Infantry: 1 MA: 2
I will be picking up two Dopps and a Marine squad at least. If you want to buy an MS for your team or one of the ships* please post here so I don't accidentally fill that same spot.
*Decimator and Shooting Star are full.
Also, if anyone thinks we should get some MA NPCs, feel free to donate lots of RP to me so I can get either some Adzams or some Grabros.

As for tomorrow, I would say go on the offensive and smash the 87th. The Shooting Star could paradrop the 87th while G-Force launches its assault.

I agree with that plan. Apparently I am not on Decimator, but with the G-Force fleet. So, the ships Liger and Decimator should hook up with G-Force today, and G-Force will assault the 87th.
I will purchase 1x Flight Support and 1x Artillery Support for the attack. I know I won't be able to help with operation Mobile Armor, but we should definitely pick up a Grabro + Jukon next week for the fleet.

And remember, I'm not on Decimator, but with the G-Force fleet. The Decimator, as of right now, is empty. Once she rejoins, that'll be four MS slots that can be filled (Since I an be pulled ala MA slot of dragging).
So, my actions for the day: Purchase 1x Artillery Service (specifically requesting Xamel artillery support) Purchase 1x Flight Support (Dopps)
Have Decimator rejoin the G-Force Fleet.
Follow the assaulting strategy against G-Force, with the specifics of being equipped with 3x Heavy Bazookas (one in each arm, one on magnetic storage rack). Concentrate fire on the Lleu Llaw Gyffes flight deck.

Well, I'm all for attacking the 87th. I think we should get some more flight support if anything, to be honest more so than the artillery.

Dammit...I want to dual-wield bazookas.
Anyway...
If you are in G-Force, you should send in your Optional Weapons list.
