Now that we don't have to worry quite as much about the EFSF for the time being, what's our next move?

Wyatt Fleet. It's about time we swing space to our favor. We'll be in position to attack and destroy Wyatt on next Thursday. That is if Cygnus moved into Side 7 like I expect them to, in order to pick up Latooni and the Zephyr Phantom.
I'm tempted to ask Cid if he can steal the ZP next. It's not like they're going to hold it on a ship as powerful and crazy as the Gwazine >_>.

I think that if we really, REALLY wanted Cid to steal it, that we should go with him, as it seems a little rude to let him take on all of the risk/seems like bad business to throw him at such a powerful machine alone.
However, it might not be a bad idea to see if he'll help out with Wyatt since two fleets would allow for a pincer attack without leaving one fleet critically weakened.

I agree. Stealing the ZP will have to happen in the middle of a battle between us and the EFSF. I don't think Cid will have the Gwazine ready by the time we kick Wyatt in the face.
Besides, as much as we like Cid, he wants to take a cut of whatever RP we get out of the attack. I rather use him when we absolutely need him.

Well, he IS a pirate, and we're not always going to have a free battleship to give him.
Besides, wouldn't they gain RP off of those RP-carrying supply ships if they took part in the attack?

I rather we get those RP-carrying supply ships for ourselves. However, according to the Broadcast thread, it looks as if the ideal point in time for someone to travel to Deep Space is Week 17. So he might be aiming for that departure date.

Given the recent Odessa developments, I think we should assist the efforts there in Orbit. This could make or break us, so we should bring our a-game.

Given how crucial it seems that we assist in Earth Orbit, I'm changing our original plans for the Odessa Event.
Instead of hitting the Wyatt and EFSF Resupply Fleet, I will respawn and purchase new ships while the ZEF moves to Earth Orbit.
So, I will send in an app tonight. My first action on the next update day would be to buy an Asteroid Mine at +2DE while everyone else in Zeon space send me their RP. That way, on the last update for Week 15, I can buy a Zanzibar, Musai, and Jicco while moving the new "ZMF 2nd Resupply Fleet" from the Asteroid Mine into +2DE. Then on the next Monday update, I'll move down into +1DE. Tuesday update, merge the two fleets into the ZEF and move down to +0DE. Then on Wednesday update we move into Earth Orbit. Finally, Thursday update we participate in the Odessa event.
Even though the intel says that the Odessa Task Forces will be in position to assault Odessa on the Monday update, I calculate that there will still be 3 days left to the planned 12-day Operation Odessa timeline. Hopefully this allows us to reach Earth Orbit (especially for Latooni who will be spawning in Green Noah and would barely reach Earth Orbit on time as well).
If that's not the case, then on Monday's update the ZEF will move up to +2DE and then on Tuesday's update both fleets will dropkick Wyatt.

Alright, so the ENTIRE Luna II Defense Fleet is moving to Earth Orbit. I don't see how we can take on that force AND the EFSF even with the new ships we are getting.
I think we may have to resort to our backup plan to destroy Wyatt fleet.

Yeah...as bad as it is for the ground forces, they have the advantage of having a fortress and quite a few NPCs at their disposal.
I hate having to do this, but we don't have a lot of other options besides throwing ourselves against a very large fleet...

Not just a large fleet but a large fleet AND the Bollocks Fleet.
The only NPC Zeon ships I see are two Zanzibars loaded with cargo, the Penguin, a Musai in low Odessa Orbit, and the two patrol Musais.
We simply do not have enough weight to push against the Federal forces without additional NPC help.
At this point we get about the same amount of reward with largely LESS causalities if we wipe out Wyatt Fleet.

I'd have to agree that unless we get some serious backup, which isn't likely, we'd be butchered if we went. The most we can hope for is getting Ridden and the cargo out alive at this stage...
