Hey Kids,
Now that we are one Chivvay and two Musais richer (plus 21x Zaku II HMTs but those are being brought tonight), we are ready to rumble.
The ZMF 2nd Resupply Fleet will be moving into +1DE to join up with the rest of you. The Zeon Expeditionary Force will go on Patrol.
This serves two purposes: if Latooni moves into +1DE, he gets hit by the patrol. If he doesn't, then when the EFSF Resupply Fleet moves into +1DE tomorrow (it'll be in +0DE today) we can wreck it and then use the ships to pick off the survivors.
Then we can hightail it to Overlord 13 for repairs.
So I need everyone to send me their RP today if you haven't already. If this works out, we'll be 2,000 RP richer by the end of the week.
Questions?
P.S. - I also had Radune give me Jim's old ship so I can use it to start getting back Ruins, starting with Ruins of Purgatorio.

This is what the situation currently looks like. The EFSF have two small advantages over us. The first is that their ship crews on average are a higher level than ours. We can fix this easily by buying lvl 2 crews for our newest combat ships. The other advanatage is that the EFSF has a slight lead in VP. Not too much but a handful of points. Though if Latooni does join the fray with his G-Armor and the Zephyr Phantom, things may get a little dicey.
So here’s what I plan to do. Go off Patrol because if the Bollocks Fleet enters +1DE right as we are battle the EFSF Resupply Fleet, it’ll be bad for us. At the same time I’m going to buy lvl 2 crews for the ships and postpone the Bigro for a day or so.
If Bollocks goes to Earth Orbit, we’ll destroy the EFSF Resupply Fleet. If it comes to +1DE, we’ll smack it tomorrow. If Bollocks joined the EFSF Resupply Fleet, then we’ll go on Overwatch.

So very simply we’re going to smash the EFSF Resupply Fleet at +1DE.
I picked this location because there are no other Federal fleets around to save Synapse like what happen to Blex (curse you Ohm!). The Bollocks Fleet is also at Earth Orbit and Latooni is stuck in Side 7 on his Columbus. We can still overwhelm Latooni’s Columbus the days after this attack.
By destroying the EFSF Resupply Fleet, we get nearly the same amount of reward as we would have gotten from Odessa. But with largely less chance of dying.
The strategy I proposed is the Schnee Weiss hang out in the rear with the Scout Musai and the Papua. Those two ships are to guard the Newtype as Florian attacks the Columbus transports with his bits after the opening artillery service (triple thanks to my logistics spec). As the Columbus ships are exploding, the Chivvay II with the two Musais will assault the Salamis Revised. The Tivvay and Chivvay will assault the Audacious. The Val Varo with support by the Act Zaku and Proto Gelgoog will assault the Salamis Kai. The Zaku II E on the Tivvay will guide the warship’s accuracy while the other Zaku types will guard the ship from close combat.
Meanwhile, Frenzy and Radune’s Rick Dom will be accompanied by the Zaku II HMTs and other Rick Doms in attacking Synapse’s ship the Atlantis. The units attacking the Atlantis are all using solid ammunition because our two Jiccos will be blocking the Magellan Revised’s broadsides with anti-beam chaff to protect the other ships. The Athena’s Wrath will also be brining along anti-chaff missiles.
Once we break the warships apart, we will finish off the Columbus vessels not yet destroyed by the Schnee Weiss.
Everything is shoot to kill here. The more damage we do, the more Side RP the EF will need to spend to remake the fleet.

Priority is going to buying a Chivvay II, Zanzibar II for Arcaille (I promised him), refiting the two Musais to Final Types, and refitting my Chivvay to a Chivvay II. Full details will be revealed during the next week.
