Docking onto the Hardboiled, Emil Myberg didn't really think anything would be out of the ordinary. Just a good ol' rest up, all on his own in his little room, just like how it was on Lucifer's Fury. Unfortunately for him, he was wrong. As soon as he left his Rick Dom, he noticed that there was a huge crowd in the hangar. And they were all women. They all seemed to be staring at him, as if he was some sort of caged animal. He could hear them talking amongst themselves.
"That's who she picked?" "I expected the Captain's pet to be bigger than that.." "I didn't think the Captain were into young boys." "Is he the one she's been talking about all the time?"
This captain they're speaking about.. Is it someone I know? Emil thought to himself, looking around a bit more. Suddenly, a group of people seemed to try and break through the crowd. At the head of the group there were a squad of armed soldiers who quickly shoved anyone else aside. As soon as they reached the front, the soldiers quickly dispersed and let the ones they were escorting through. As soon as he saw the ones they were escorting, Emil figured his stay at the ship wouldn't be quite as calm as he had planned. As the apparent leader of the group stood next to Emil and just kept her silence, he tried to say something to break the ice.
"Er.. You look great, Laura."
That seemed to be enough for the captain of the ship, commander Laura Glensburg, as she grabbed hold of Emil and gave him a long hug.
"Welcome home, Emil."
After a few rounds of chess with Frauke, D.D. basically dragged Emil off, even though it seemed like he was a bit more co-operative than last time it happened. After she shoved him into her room, she started undressing him. Feeling inside his suit jacket, she found something he probably wanted to keep secret. It was an envelope, and it had something rather heavy in it. D.D. wanted to find out what was inside, of course, but not before teasing Emil a bit.
"Aaah~ Now what do we have here? Is it a love letter? Is it to or from you? Now I'll just have to check out what's inside."
Despite Emil's protests, she broke the seal keeping the envelope together, and grabbed what was inside?
"A video recording? Hmm, I wonder who it's from~" She nonchalantly said, holding the small device in front of Emil's face.
She quickly inserted the little device into the monitor of her room, starting the recording for both of them to see.
The video showed up a picture of Laura Glensburg, the captain of the ship. She took a deep breath before she started talking.
"Dear Emil. By the time you see this, something probably has happened to me. I don't have the guts to say this straight to your face, but this is my apology for everything."
She kept staring straight at the camera.
"The truth is.. I'm your big sister. I've wanted to tell you this for a long while, but I was afraid at how you'd react. Other than that.. I'm really ashamed over what our parents did to you, and how I was completely powerless to stop them."
She seemed like she'd start crying at any moment, her words being disturbed by the occasional sniffle.
"We ruined your life, and there's no way for me to apologize for that. And when you see this, I'll probably be dead already."
Inhaling a deep breath once more, she seemed to get a bit more agitated.
"So, that's why I want you to live. Live the utmost with what you have left. Live for me, your weak sister. But most importantly, live for yourself."
That seemed to be enough for her, and she started crying.
"I'm really sorry, Emil. Your big sister is really useless, huh? But I want you to know.. no matter what, I'll always love you. I really, really, really love you. And I always will. So please don't hate me."
The recording ended.
Emil just sat there, staring into nothing. However, D.D. saw this as an opportunity, and she tried using the obviously very shocked boy.
"Now that she's taboo, you'll like me more, right? Right? Let's finish up what we started here~"
But Emil wouldn't have it, he needed to speak with Laura. To find out the truth about this message.
"I'm sorry, but I can't.. not now. I really need to find her. Right now."
However, D.D. was still a much bigger and stronger person than him, so she pinned him to the wall and tried to intimidate him.
"I wasn't asking."
