I figure we might aswell get a head start on this so we are not sitting on our asses and oing nothing after Odessa. Right now I would say regardless of what happens. If we win great, if we lost that sucked, but one thing is a gurantee ZEF will be nearby. They could attack us while we are terribly messed up and try to kick the fleet while it is down. So we need to prepair ourselves for a followup fight with them regardless.
As for directly after odessa. I'm thinking since we have lossed Lat and Nirvash we could build 4 mines in Side 7. We could net ourselves 480rp and make up for their losses. It would give us some infastructure and something to stand on.
After that is done we could make a run into side 2 and make a run at attacking a 2e zeek fleet and free up another Feddie fleet for blocking duty. We could try and tangle up the zeeks with that action.

I'll have to do a lot of reading that I can't do tonight before I can post any ideas.

I'd like to go after Chan's fleet, since he missed the event. Thats if our fleet makes it out ok.

Ok the Odessa space event is over for us. We costed Zeon over 6k rp. I may have to do the math again but we costed them BIG side rp. ON TO LIKELY SCENARIOS!
Well chan is close by and he has a few options to take when it comes to dealing with us. One of the options that has been discussed is that he could pursue and attack us in our weak state. If this happens that would be the greatest thing that could happen to us. He right now has enough firepower in his fleet that he could go to 2e and blow up a 2e fleet and unleash a Zeek 2e fleet to do to us that we did to them with Ohm. It would restrict our freedom of movement in 2e.
That is the worst possible scenario that can happen to us. The other scenario is he could bypass the 2e npc fleet scenario and capture Texas Colony. This to I could live with since it is only territory he will cost us. We can always recapture it. I figure we will be sitting at Luna II for a week to at least get what's left of the fleet back up on its feet. By then one these scenarios will have unfolded. So don't be shocked if we see a 2e fleet blockading the area. Lets hope he goes with Texas or tries to attack us. I'll post more later.

Ok everyone here is the plan as it stands. As soon as the rpg kicks off(Week after next) we will take the fleet and have it join the Luna II Defense fleet and ride it back to Luna II. That way we can still move while having some good firepower to come along with us just in case Chan does attack. I think it is unlikely we will see him so soon since he has some players that may want to rush off to a friendly Zeon base so they can make switches, but you never know. So I would think of this as a hedge against that possibility. Once we arrive at Luna II we will just have the ships repair and we will buy new ships to. Below is what I think we will need in order to have a good fleet for upcoming operations. 2 Colombus Class Ships(800rp) 2 Salamis Class Ships(1600rp) With these purchases we should have at least 7 respectable warships for when we meet up against Chan to fight him. I didn't go too crazy with ship purchase plans because we have no ideal how much rp we netted for ourselves for after Odessa. I'd have to check that for myself to see. On top of that most of our ms compliments died off in the battle so we will need to bleed off some rp in order to fill out the fleet. We will have to delay purchase of the Gray Phantom by at least at least a week maybe no more then 2 weeks(sorry Zero ) We will need sufficient numbers in order to deal with chan and the Salamis and Colombus combo has done well by us so we should skate by with it this time. My main concern is we still have no clue what Chan is planning with the pirates so we will have to keep on our toes and watch him like a hawk and pay attention where ever that Gwazine goes and where Cid is at all times so we don't have him sneak up on us like he did last time. I have my suspicions about what's being planned, but it isn't worth jumping to conclusions. We just need to keep a eye on the pirates. We now come to the situation of what to do with our planned mining operation. We had plans to plant 2 mines at Side 7 and to repair Latooni's old mine. That would have given us 3 mines all together to build a rp infrastructure around. We would be netting ourselves 360rp a week. However the two mines will run us 700rp which would burn a hole in our fleet budget. 800rp if you count the repairs for Lat's old mine. Best way to approach this project is to buy 1 mine for one week and the second the next week. The old mine can be repaired when the first new mine goes up sometime in the week. Spade and Pyrefly I think we may make that a job for you two since you plan to come up to space and stuff. That's if you don't mind. If we approach the mining operation in that fashion we should have some rp on hand to buy mobile suits and saberfish for any clashes we have against ZEF while still having rp squared away for the Gray Phantom or a Magellan if we decide to take one of those. As for when we do set out to attack the ZEF. Our first order of business is to have Overlord 13 destroyed. The ruins of Purgatorio is where it is at or is going to to be traveling to. Chan has it set up as a forward operating base. I guess he plans to have us attack it and destroy it and causing us to get tangled up in that fiasco like he did last time when he did hit and run attacks on us while we sit. I learned from the mistake Latooni and myself made on that one. Our best approach to avoid that is to have half the fleet attack the mine and kill it while the other would go on patrol the very same day as its own stand alone fleet. If Chan and them are nearby and plan to ambush us after we nail the mine they would run into the patrolling force and get dinged up a bit they very next day. From there it is a matter linking back up and pulling back out of 2e in to either Side 5 to Texas Colony or back to Side 7 for repairs. Once we are able to get out of that situation we could then look toward hitting the Dren Fleet and freeing the Ohm Fleet to do blockades again. I really think we need to secure 2e before we consider mine killing operations against the ZEF. If we could get 2 Feddie NPC fleets blockading around in 2e that could make movement for the ZEF miserable at best.

I'm ok with repairing the damaged mine or whatever with pyrefly. That's if I don't die in Odessa I'm assuming?
