Ok, lets see here...
First of all, I know a lot of us are a little sore over Odessa and events leading up to the event. We had been on a roll and came to a horrendously quick, screeching halt. I understand all the sentiments floating around in regards to Odessa, and it ended up being rather overwhelming.
With that being said, I think we can come out of this and continue where we left off before the NPC fleets appeared. I mean, we could either bitch, complain, and lick our wounds, or we can pick up the pieces and move forward. I for one, vote we pick up the pieces and move forward.
IF you need to get some things off your chest in regards to any ill feelings towards Odessa or the likes, PM me, talk to me about it, don't go about bashing anyone, or bitching in public please? it only gets us in trouble, a few of us know this first hand.
Now that we have that out the way, hopefully. Gray, Zero and I have discussed it on the officer's forum and have decided that while partially effective, how we were doing things before won't cut it. We need to become more organized and have a more defined chain of command. I was reluctant to take the spot, mostly because I enjoyed playing the lone wolf :-p but I have the support of Gray and zero to take up position of main officer on the ground.
Now, this doesn't mean I'm going to become some crazy dictator, just that if a decision has to be made, instead of wasting time in limbo or letting indecision get in the way, I can make that call. I like to think that my record shows i can be successful with limited resources and people, and that with y'alls support, hopefully we can create that same success on a larger scale.
I am hoping that you all won't quit on me, and that despite the embarrassment we suffered at Odessa y'all won't leave the game. Like I said before, I think we still have the ability to be competitive and that we can press on and cause some trouble for them.
To start off, immediately after Odessa, I think our first targets should be a pair, hit at same time. I think we should hit the Indian Ocean Naval Convoy (Which can be accomplished with a relatively small force.) and Torrington, disarming the Feds of their nukes, and capturing a new Territory for us.
After that I would also like to set our sights on New York, and see about reclaiming North America, I feel its an important Territory, especially with Jaburo coming up eventually.
which leads me to the other target that I would like to get to between now and jaburo (Is not a high priority target.) But I would like to take a shot at Rio De Janeiro.
So with that all out on the table, and you guys knowing how I feel, what do you guys think? I will do my best to get us moving in the right direction and be as fair as I can possibly be, I just want to know I have y'alls support and that I can count on y'all.
Sieg zeon!
