So we're finally doing things again. Surprisingly, enough ships from G-Force survived the battle that we still have that fleet. Had a couple of ideas to run by y'all, see what we should do.
1. Move G-Force to Baikonour with the surviving NPC-owned ships for repairs.
Pros: Get our ships to survive to fight in later Ops. Cons: The two ships mentioned in the following points could rendezvous with friends.
2. Attack the Oompa Loompa Giffs with the intent to destroy. Pros: Possibly kill this pain-in-the-ass. Cons: It's got a lot of fighters and I don't know if we'd be able to hold onto it the next day. Also invites us to the possibility of attack the next day.
3. Attack the Ursula with the intent to capture. Pros: Capture a potentially-useful ship. We outgun it by a severe margin. Cons: We only have one squad of Marines, so a PC would have to join the fleet and buy two Marine services. Again, G-Force could be attacked the very next day and we could lose more than just the Ursula.

Ok, I had an idea just a few minutes ago. After talking it over with Draco I thought I would post it here.
Right now Earth Zeon has a good deal of RP, and I know everyone wants to start working as one unit and I agree. But in this case we have a chance to split up and do some good work.
If you look at the bases page you will notice New York is relatively weak right now. It's biggest threat is its naval ships.
My proposed plan is simple. Ground zeon divides its rp in two. Sending part to Draco and myself to build a fleet to destroy New York and the rest goes to repairing the other zeon fleets.
It would also likely help if a few zeon pc's moved to North America to join us.
Now while the naval ships do pose a problem I feel it is one we can over come. Using a mix of land warships we should be able to take the land portion of the base easily. Then using the city itself as cover, all ms and ships would attack the naval elements as best they could.
However that wouldn't be enough, we would also need to purchase a bit of MSM to combat the naval fleet. I feel a combined assault in this manner would be more than enough to retake the base.
Now the plan or strategy isn't set in stone, but coming out of Odessa with a bit of momentum can only help us. So if people support this idea I can hash out a shopping list with Draco.

New York can wait. I want us to focus on Torrington and the Indian Ocean Naval Convoy right after Odessa. I have 3 subs, and with Gray, I feel should be enough to take them.... Send rest of land based units at Torriington...
give us some RP and give us another territory.
If you really want to do New York, and feel you can move on it quickly with out them reacting to you, then write up a proposal for me.

Purchase 2x Dobday 1600 rp 2x Hygogg 500 rp 8x Zaku Kai 480 rp 1x Luggan 40 rp 21x dopp 336 rp
Draco's Komusai would round out the fleet.
The following players would be asked to move to North America for the attack on Thursday. Ender, Zero, Gray
The ground base forces would assault the base in a blitzing atack. THe battleships along with Ender and Draco would bombard the base with their focus being on taking out the naval ships who will hopefully be at dock.
The dopps will engage the EF's airforce in an attempt to wipe them out or severly deplete them.
Zero, and myself will lead all ground MS on a charge of the base aiming to take out the few ms they have and the majority of the tanks. (We can request support from the Dobdays cannons if we need it)
Meanwhile Gray will take the aquatic forces and attempt to hit the fleeing naval ships as the exit the port hopefully blocking the exit turning it into a killing field. (Note assuming Zero is in good shape since his suit hovers he could move to help Gray with the ships)

Divide an conquer does not always work. We've seen how that turned out before Odessa. I vote we repair up and buy some shit to bolster our forces.

I agree. We need to hit something hard, but with shored up forces. Torrington needs to be the primary target. Steal the nukes, and if that's not possible, destroy them.

Torrington is not going anywhere, and New York needs to be taken back so we have North America in our pocket for when Jaburo comes around.
But also on that note, and I'm sorry Daren, but looking at the ships there, it may be a little more difficult to take with the forces you're talking about than you think. I would suggest at least waiting til the STFU is finished repairing.
