Ket, I know we talked about this, but I don't understand the logic behind it magically disappearing when it was all but captured at the end there. I have where I accounted for the crew in the original plans, and where the Everest was taken by Hans and left open for the Marines and Crew to take it.
The last mention of the Everest leaves it where the Marines are heading to secure it, no?
And as for your counter as to 13 people can't operate a battle ship like that, here is where I stated in the original plans that the Crew was to abandon Jukon for the Everest so that it had a plausible crew so that you couldn't say anything like that...
And as far as getting it out of the battle field, removing it from the EF's reinforcement point, woulda been just fine, they were moving on the base, and the navy was licking its wounds, I don't see why getting away with the ship is so far fetched.

After the area was secure, a small, covered speedboat filled with duchy marines skidded towards the Everest, a single man aboard the bridge flashing an 'all clear' signal with a device on his watch.

*HANS AND EVEREST.
Ideally, Hans could have placed bomb on Pasture and moved to Everest, and detonate once on Everest and when U-18 reaches them. If not, Then just have him clear bridge and make it available for U-18 to load Marines on for capture, then transfer Jukon crew over and claim it for Zeon.
Prior to this, Jukon and Goggs should work to take out Hillock and surround Everest.
