Current updated roster, via Google Docs:
I know I was going a bit crazy with Excel and Google Docs during Odessa, trying to plan for things after it went down. Now, it's time to ask those most active in planning if such a thing would be useful on a day-to-day basis.
For me, having all the roster data on one spreadsheet, easily viewed and accessible to all of us makes planning easier, since one can get at-a-glance information about who's repairing, how much RP everyone has, where everyone is, etc. Do others of you find this information useful?
I'm currently making the spreadsheet with Excel, using web queries that fetch the data from the OYW site, then macros to condense it and clean it up. Then, it's a simple matter of copying/pasting into the Google Docs spreadsheet to make it available to everyone. Easy-peasy; I don't mind doing it, especially if it's even a mite useful to us.
Which brings us to the question: How shall I present this updated information? Should I post in this thread every time it's updated? Share it in chat? Or can I assume that those of you who will use it will bookmark the link, or else not mind digging this thread up to find it again.
